True but Jesus is also a God of reconciliation, it happened to me he took full responsibility and was absolutely remorseful and because he repented I stayed. But he’s not off the hook, his idiotic choice caused negative consequences because I’m suffering the repercussions but God is merciful and forgiving, especially towards me so I desire to extend it to my husband.

We as Christians has an obligation to be Biblcial. God allows divorce if there is cheating. Period. What some church member says is not law. Gods Word is law and that’s that. You can divorce your spouse if they cheat on you. If you don’t want to then fine but God doesn’t obligate us to stay with a cheater. ❤

Remarriage is also not technically permitted...which is why some people would prefer to stay with their spouse. Matthew 19: 9-12: "And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.The disciples said to him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.” But he said to them, “Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.” If there is divorce, that would technically fall under the eunuchs by "men" category. If people thought of that, they'd think more intentionally prior to marrying anyone lol. If you are hard hearted, it is best not to marry. If you are soft hearted, you have the disposition necessary for union (both parties).

Some people don’t want to be with a multiple of people or return to dating, some people stay together because of bills, home loans, kids etc that they already started building with a person 😢 not their fault the other person couldn’t stay committed

Marriage is a sacred covenant and bond and it is unfortunate that you went through that kind of hurt. God hates divorce however people justify with scripture on infidelity being a just cause to do so. I do believe in the power of restoration and rebuilding what was broken especially if Christ is the foundation which you built your marriage on. It’s not easy but it is definitely worth it in the end. It’s really up to the individual to decide whether to stay or leave in that situation but I am rooting you and your marriage on. Prayer changes all things. It’s what I’ve had to do and will continue to do because I trust God to intervene and change it for His glory. May God bless you and your family Mrs. Daf.
