Thank you so much! I have a big audition/performance coming up and I've been stressing about it for months now and realizing again that everyone often feels this way and also the reason behind doing it has really lifted a weight off my shoulder now!!

Great video! Do you ever experience nerves because of the standard level you've set for yourself? Like, if you do a good work and you're prepared consistently in acting class and you get good feedback, you're afraid that you won't be able to deliver that "expectation" or that "first impression" others have for you sometimes.

Absolutely! This is a really insightful comment. I think a lot of our fears come from standards/expectations. That's why I think it's important particularly in a class environment to find somewhere you can FAIL GLORIOUSLY. You shouldn't be feeling like you are in an audition at class. Class is the place to explore and constantly make mistake.

Hahaha excellent video, thanks Andy! Being nervous reassures me that THIS must be important to me! :D Great opportunity to be outside of your comfort zone and learn. Really appreciate these insights :)

Every actor/actress must have fluffed their lines due to stage fright. However they have the benefits of editing etc on film!
