i've been thinking lately that my back leg is more of a problem spot than my front leg when it comes to getting my splits, i'll be trying these stretches to see if i get results ❤

Whenever I slid into my splits and couldnt go down more it stopped being my hamstring being too tight some time ago so I knew it was the badk leg now but NOBODY talks about it or stretches it barely in any routines and it made me so annoyed because my mind and body knew what I needed but didnt know how until today! Why didnt this show up b3fore idk but so glad it did, my lunge by the end was wayyyyy deeper than before, exactly where I needed the looseness! Funny though because this reminded me that in 2016 I used to stretch pidgeon pose with a gymnastics bench under my back legs shin back when I first tried to get my splits and ended up with very loose quads and psoas. Also pidgeon pulling in my back foot towards the butt. Had comlletely forgotten that until watching this video! Shockingly, 12-13 year old me never watched a stretching video to learn these stretches, I found them intuitively by feeling whatbplace felt tight and movjng in ways until it stretched and those two did just that 😅 shameIm not as intuitive now 😂
