Just as a suggestion: To get more likes I‘d recommend putting in a visual reminder to drop a like in the middle of your videos. I realized that reminders at the end of videos often go overlooked when they are placed in more or less generic outros. Just a suggestion, love your videos!

I found your Twitch channel. So, I can get "The Tale of Two Cities". In my mind those two could be neighboring countries or something. Auridon is creating a story for itself. The new neighborhood feels like a high middle-class area. It would help to have the green schools to give it a different feel.
@fewcandy2 жыл бұрын
Definitely neighbouring countries!

Loving the builds, FC, great work - and congrats on the channel doing so well. You've really nailed it. Regarding the prop limit: have you heard of the newish mod Extended Managers Library? It allows you to set any prop limit, defaulting to 4x (256k), as well as improving prop render times. Using it does require replacing Prop and Tree Anarchy (and some other mods like Prop Snapping and Decal Prop Fix) with two new separated mods, Prop Anarchy and Tree Anarchy. But then you get all those features in just a handful of modular mods. Should be great for detailers! :)

Thank you! I have heard of it and keen to try it out at some point, will certainly take away the concern of prop counts!

Love the use of the power lines to create a step-down or substation vibe. That should really be a vanilla power plant building; if not built into the generating station itself, then an additional building to place. Similarly, I wish the vanilla game had local utility lines instead of having to bring in high voltage transmission lines everywhere. New neighborhood is shaping up wonderfully. Since it overlooks the fortress, I'd suggest something like "Fort Auridon" or "Garrison Point". The powerplant needs a suitably cryptic green name, something like "Broadleaf Generation" or "Bluesky Services".

You should call the new area Kingfisher’s Enclave and you set up a smaller fishing industry nearby. Also a fish market would work will near the transport hub. Love the videos btw.

Great job in today's video! I particularly like the power-generation hub... The extra powerlines that feed out are SO realistic! Looking forward to seeing how you build-out the trains once they are available. Same with the ferry lines. I already find myself anticipating the next episodes! Better than anything on TV! Thank you for sharing your talents!

It could be an interesting built if you placed shops/garages under the metro line. It would give it a DLR vibe and it would shelter it from the sound pollution
@nealjroberts40502 жыл бұрын
That power station looks good! The new area has a middle class vibe so could do with a few organic shops 😁 Namewise, something like Haven Acres, North/East/South/Westpoint, The Rise, etc. Look forward to seeing the extension of the metro and the settlement around it.

Great contents as allways I have noticed that you have a lot of nice props you use when detailing. I was wondering if you would consider doing a video on what prop-packs are your favorites. I ask because I would like to get some more props, but since my computer isn't the largest in the world, I don't want to download the entire workshop, but would rather just pick a few of the best and hopefully not crash my computer :) I am thinking I am not the only person in the world who would enjoy hearing your opinion on this. And thank you again for your great videos, they are very inspiring.

Great episode as always Just a tip, when you glue two buildings together, (like the geothermal powerplant) , i like to lower the redundancy percentage of the props with BOB. You end up with a more organic feeling, less symetrical, of the overall build.

Are you going to make a farming area? I would love to see an actual country section of a city in the game. If you need reference check out central illinois for how American farmland actually looks like. It's a mix of forests, cropland, farm houses and small towns in a grid pattern.

When I start a video and I see it's 45 minutes... I really wish KZbin had a more robust resume-watching-later function. I'm putting this link in my notes and maybe I can sneak in some chunks today. Looks like an interesting video, but hard to fit in.

Holy cow, my like was 666th👹. Everything's got names on stream and all my pocket ideas were realized. I'd probably cut a forest corridor with power line and lumpy-bumpy puckered wiggle Woo maintenance road with paddles towards oncoming downtown. And maybe put transformer vault on consumers' side, as well. Also, metro must have its own power line and transformer shack for power independence. Till next time 👋
@tigonologdring91892 жыл бұрын
Love the little bits of detailing and the look & feel of the power plant is great. If you're still taking name suggestions for the new headland residential then Castleview Point, or just Castle Point, might be fitting. Would the ruined fortifications be _Fort_ _William_ by any chance?
@TapsLeftOpen2 жыл бұрын
Brilliant build, I’d just like to add a few things. It would be nice to have something resemble a transformer where the higher voltage power lines could. Meet before the power is distributed into the city via an underground cable. Also, it would be nice to have some rural power lines as HV lines for short distances aren’t really ideal. Lastly, the one way system around your bus terminal is going to drive your buses and associated traffic crazy. The asset already has a bud turn around and if you see your bus routes, they are going around the area twice before they get out. If you can sort that out, it’d be great!
@exceededcircle12 жыл бұрын
How about a simple Auridon Power and Light or APL for all power generation areas? Keeps it regional instead of local. Loving the build!
@ericrsa23482 жыл бұрын
Really impressive job compare to what we see on You Tube. If I may suggest one elements regarding the fencing around industrial assets and power plant you did: in real life, the fence is not so close to the building and much more far away as developper owns the land for potential extension and keep some land free for future development so they would put the fences at the limit of property and not close the the building. For example, on your new power plant, it would make sense to see an industrial fence around the freeway. I let you decide. about my suggestion :)
