Excellent video. My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.

I use to buy into these videos but sometimes I feel like a lot of the relationship videos are mind games that’s just ugly to me. If you like someone act on it if it’s reciprocated then continue if they act like they don’t or don’t period or fizzles out then leave them alone. Simply the right one will come to you of course and it’ll flow, grow, and it will show. There is a balance too, don’t be clingy either, to where you are dependent, do your own stuff too

AGREED! Everyone is different. Some things may work for others and some won't. I say to definitely learn how to detach but to the degree that the wonderful woman in the video was explaining might be a little extreme for some.
@monbebearmybird1239
@monbebearmybird1239 Жыл бұрын
@@mistastealyogirlll exactly all these relationship advice videos can just get confusing when you don’t know and love yourself to be comfortable in your single state. You got to know yourself be healed enough to be ready for a relationship. If you don’t have that or not actively working on that, shouldn’t even think of dating but fixing yourself first. Learn self care. Start there and then you will know what to look for and what you won’t stand for. If not it will lead to clinging onto someone because the idea of wanting someone out of desperation ( in turn getting into bad relationships/situations) Vs finding a true connection.

okay so when I was dating this guy, I used to fantasize A SHIT TON about him. Like- him doing ‘gentleman’ stuff, putting the bare minimum efforts and made a version of him in my head which wasnt even real. I expected him to live up to my expectations so it wss harder for me to detach. So keep this in mind +thewizardliz has a video on this!❤

This is great advice! I definitely get attached way too easily....and what I've learned the hard way is: most men (at least most masculine men) actually don't get that attached from talking to us a lot. They can talk to a woman every single day for a decade and still not want to move the relationship with her forward. That's why it's important like you said to recognize it's most likely chemicals in the brain and not a true genuine attachment/love coming from his side.

I really needed to hear this. There's this guy I was friends with. Trust me, it's only friendship and nothing else. But we would speak to each other non stop. Whether be it on the phone, on text, whatever. And then suddenly since last week he isn't talking to me. I sensed the energy and that triggered my anxiety. I rarely ever let people into my life but when I do, I really care for them and want them to be okay. So I keep texting, calling, making sure they're okay. And they don't give a shit about me. Clearly I just reduced myself into nothing but a pushover. I'm really attached to this person and I've been a mess since the past one week. It felt so good to hear this. Puts a lot of things into perspective.

Getting attached fast & easily to people is largely due to unresolved childhood issues. Seek therapy for that, do the work and you won't even have to be telling yourself, "oh it's just oxytocin" every 5 minutes while you obsess over him because he's hot and cold to you. He's still "in control" even if he's not there and you're still likely to be obsessed with the next guy who does this even if ur over this one. He's still winning. All I see here is unresolved childhood issues trying to be pushed down by putting a bandaid over it that says "boss babe." Don't follow this individuals advice, follow the guidance of a good local doctor.

I love this! so true, knowledge is power - the last guy I was dating really exposed my attachment issues. This time was different though I was able to realize I was attached because of the hot and cold and it was the first guy I’ve really liked in a long time and he planned dates got me flowers on the first date we celebrated my bday with dinner and gifts and ended up having sex 🥹 when he started doing hot and cold a few weeks after us dating - I cut him off, I knew it was a mix of us spending so much time together and the hot and cold. My brain initially was like “he’s perfect omg” but then my rational side said - a perfect person wouldn’t be hot and cold, I was still single and I was confused = not the person for me. I didn’t want to ghost him but it made me feel powerful because I know if I didn’t he would keep toying with me

I mean, he’s so sweet and gives me all those princess treatment and talks all sweet n stuff when we’re together but as soon we’re away and texting, I feel like he’s only carrying the convo and not necessarily cares if i reply late. It makes my mind go numb, I really want this person in my life cause he’s greatly ambitious, sweet, kind, caring, super cool and understanding and everything one could be, it makes me sad he prolly doesn’t feel the same way for me ig? Attachment isnt a bad thing i think your demonizing the wrong thing. The problem is not being able to 'detach'. You realize the reason you can’t detach is because you’re attached. I get what you’re saying but what you’re saying makes no sense because it goes by the level of attachment, you don’t have to be cold to be detached. You just take things as they come but be fully present.

It's funny, I've sometimes wondered if there's something wrong with me that I DON'T get attached to guys easily and that I have no problem cutting them off the second I see they're playing mind games because I can't be bothered rather than giving them a chance, the way society pushes women to do. I also refuse to settle for someone I'm not equally yolks to, I see so many women who could do better not only settle for much less, but then let these curmudgeon loses abuse and denigrate them to where she forgets what she is or maybe never knew (Jonah Hills girlfriend). I literally started to question why I don't have the relationship trauma most women seem to have. Listen carefully to what people, society, cultures say to girls and women: "Oh that's nothing, give him another chance", "they're all like that, not worth throwing the relationship away", "You're not gonna do better than him", "All men are bad at communicating so don't expect him to talk or meet your emotional needs the way you want" , "Looks and physical attraction don't matter in the long run, don't be superficial, just find a husband (no wonder so many wives don't want to sleep with their husbands once they pop out their kids, you would if you found him attractive!😅"). I am still single but it's because I look around and see so many women and hear so many stories of women getting with losers and/ or emotionally abusive, controlling, insecure, manipulative men. And I'm like is This what society wants me to settle for?? So I can be flucked up like every other woman who only after years of therapy after years of mistreatment, get to the level of high self-respect I ALREADY have?? This is what has been swirling in my head lately because I did start to feel Stockholm syndrome within society that looks at us women who still aren't married like we're strange for not settling for anyone who will have us like so many do so they can be married by 30. A lot of those women are divorced now and in the same boat as me except with children, little money or support and trauma.. Sooo, I'm good. Whew I almost got pressured into the dark, convulted side that I've managed to avoid thus far. And although it can be hard, I'd rather NOT have trauma than have it and have to fix it or learn the hard way by hitting rock bottom. I still know and hope to find a good man, a masculine, confident, mature man, a soulmate to love ❤. I have to believe they exist. Ps. I tried an app for the 1st time and it's soo odd to me that guys just want to message for 40 days and 40 nights about nonsense🙄. like I've swiped on you, what other signal do you need to ask for a date? Then when I stop responding, they write again like heyy how's your day? Wtf. You think I'm gonna sit here and tell you about my day everyday? I don't even know you like that, I have ish to do! So when you said, you're like why are you messaging me everyday, I was like😂, that's me! I've literally out loud to myself said ' uugh, Whaat? Stop messaging! This is a waste of time! " This is the pathetic state of dating for those under 40. I tried to avoid the apps as long as possible but unfortunately guys have lost any balls they may have had to approach women or ask them out even with a context. They'll give vines, sneak a glance but they're scared because of a certain movement that has just killed male female dynamics.

Hello pretty lady. I'm kinda in the same boat as you when it comes to relationships. But I do have the balls to ask you out on a date.

This was a good read lol. A lot of women are now learning ahead of time how to have high sense of self worth. Also most men don’t care they will approach. Some have just admitted they don’t approach if you don’t look like an easy “catch” lol.

I was feeling so low. No matter how hard I try, those negative thoughts come back to me. I am not able to end it. But I don't want to be miserable. I'll explain nothing to him. I've so much work to dom! 💅

Being attached to someone is very hard to get out of. But you’re just have to wake up it might seems easy to say but just wake up. ITS NOT REAL look at them. Look, at them they’re not who you portray them to be your brain is creating a portrait of this person to correspond to your wants you crave attention he give you some salt of attention suddenly his such a good guy. Take a time take a deep breath and look at them you’ll realized this is all obsession or attachment it’s not real or founded into your reality YOU ALLOW IT TO EXIST. You allow him to have power over you the moment you understand that you’re what makes him special you’ll understand that he isn’t special
