My dear friend I have struggled with addictions pretty much all of my adult life. However with the help of a good psychiatrist, prayer, true friends and people who truly love me I am still here! I have found some Christians however who have simply chosen to be judgemental. They have felt like somebody who watches a child fall from a height and although they break an arm they say ‘I told you not to climb up there!’ God be with you my friend

I love how the evil spirits think they are destroying us and little do they know that they are participating in God's plan to save us. It reminds me of when little kids think they are being so scary but the adults just think they are adorable. The evil spirits think they are attacking God's goodness in us, and they are, but unbeknownst to them God is using those attacks to save us and in His mercy He is allowing even them to be a part of His Divine order. He loves even them.

ßird Works thank you for sharing your opiate struggles! I have a son who almost died from opiate addiction. It will not only take down the user it will take down anyone who loves the user! The only reason my son is still living is because he was arrested and put into a detox. It has only been a year and a half and he is doing so much better. In school full time and working full time! I just don’t know how to get him interested in Swedenborg. I know this could be the answer for him, but he doesn’t respond to spiritual intervention at all. Were you a spiritual person before you began using opiates? I would really love to know how you got interested in Swedenborg and OTLE? :)

@@gsand07 My addiction issues do predate the spiritual awareness I have now. When I became entrenched in substance use I was arrogantly atheistic, but only by ignorance. I was careless with…everything, with myself in general. This was in my teens and early 20’s, now it has proven very difficult to undo that core learning. How old is your son? By the way, I looked at your channel. You play beautifully! I play piano too, not a patch on you though.

ßird Works Keep following the positive energies (the Lord!) :) My son is 28. He started with pain medication after he was hit in a car accident 5 years ago. He quickly became addicted to the pain meds and when he could no longer get them from the doctor, he found no lack of friends to “hook him up”. The opiates, as far as I know began about 3 years ago. He has been free of them for a little over a year now, but I can tell he is really struggling to stay away it. He is randomly drug-tested for 2 more years and he knows that if anything is found in his system he will go back to jail. (He was taking money from his dads business to support his habit and his dad reported him.). It was devastating at the time of his arrest but ultimately saved my son’s life. My knees are calloused from all the praying for my son-and many others. But I will NEVER stop. I have witnessed the miracles of prayer! I made up a little song that I sing to myself when things feel out of control. The words are simple, “The Lord’s taking care of everything, the Lord’s taking care of everything, the Lord’s taking care of every little thing!” Silly, I know, but singing it a couple times in a row puts a smile right on my face no matter what it going on! Thank you, btw, for the complement on the piano stuff! The piano was my “escape” as a child/teen. It still works as a great escape 😆. That is cool you play, too! Playing an instrument is a great focus for your mind!I have added you to my prayer list! 💕

The person I loved most in the world, my twin sister, committed suicide two years ago. Sometimes I feel like it’s because I loved her too much. I don’t know if the fact that I’m still alive (barely) shows that I’m fighting evil spirits or not. It is an incredibly hard struggle. Thank you for your videos.

What a terrible loss to have lived through. I'm so deeply sorry. Any thoughts that cast any blame in your direction for your sister's death are lies from evil spirits. It would never happen that someone dies because someone else loved them too much. That goes against the essence of God's love for us. The loss of someone that close to you causes a severe emotional wound, and just like with severe physical wounds, that causes a lot of pain. Two years is still early in the grief process for a loss like this. Please be patient with yourself, and take care of yourself. Pay attention to what you need each day to get through. I promise you that the pain will gradually ease, but it takes a long time. The pain of grief is normal, but evil spirits will try to pile on thoughts that torture you further, like blame, regrets, hopelessness, etc. Think about your sister's love for you, and what she would want for you right now. I am certain she would not want you to think that her death had anything to do with you. Instead, she would want you to know how much your love for her means in her life, including now. I hope in time you can come to notice the ways that her love and spirit are still close to you. And you and she will have a joyful reunion someday. For now, just take one day at a time. I am so sorry. All I can say is that I have contemplated suicide in the past. My own dear Wife has made at least one suicide attempt in the past and still suffers badly with mental illness. After I lost my son in 2012.. grief opened up a very evil Door. My children and I struggled with them (demons) in our home. It was horrible, BUT what the evil one wanted to use to keep me down.. God used for my good. It took a while... but the more light (positivity) and love that was brought in... the darkness faded. God is amazing ♥️. Obviously, I’m binge watching your channel. Swedenborg rocks!, i've studied many different philosophies and religions, Anglican Christianity, Buddhism, Gnostic, kabbalah, spiritualism, Hinduism, etc ec, etc but i have just discovered Swedenborg and it ties many of the different philosophies together in various ways. Worry and thinking about the past and future projecting fears and unworthiness really attracts negative spirits. Developing the two following mindsets "equally" strengthens our psychological health dramatically --> 1. being grateful for the many positive little things occurring right now in your life and 2. accepting that which we cannot change (somethings are broken and that the way it is)

Right now I'm chasing after a dream goal and I have it in my sights and I know what I want. I'm encountering a lot of resistance all of it internal mental anguish. I'm experiencing lot's of doubt and anxiety and procrastination is happening too often because of it. Knowing that evil spirits are stoking the flames of negativity eases my mind and gives me a kind of battle cry. With what I know now I feel like I'm a warrior battling evil forces and I suit up in armor God has supplied for me. I see it as a spiritual battle and this helps me get out of my own mind and I stop blaming myself for how I feel. All that is left is just to push forward and not let evil win.

Letting God's love shine in is the key-- His strength and His plan for you...that can change everything. Just keep leaning on Him when things get tough. As you know, I love this channel and all the teachings you have made so accessible. My concern with an episode like this is that for *most* people it will just create more fear. They will now fear the entities. I'm not saying you shouldn't share this info, but I would always add info on how we can protect ourselves from these nefarious entities. To that end, here is my advice for anyone who is fearful about this. 1) You are not your thoughts. You are the presence, the awareness behind it all. Imagine you are the lamp in a projector and the thoughts are just the filmstrip running through the projector. This helps us disassociate from the usual over-identification with our thoughts. 2) Prayer for help *always* works. If you are feeling down or troubled or fearful, *always* know that if you ask for help, it is immediately given. It is spiritual assistance and protection. Another key here is to have faith/trust that this helps is available and will be given instantly. This begs the question "Why do we have to ask?" The answer is that positive entities wait for us to use our free will to chose and to ask for help. If you ask them to always protect you, they will do that from now on and you don't need to keep asking. 3) Stop anything that makes you fearful. Stop consuming the 'news'. It's all ego-based and fear-inducing. 4) Consciously choose love. This starts with yourself. You can't love others if you don't love yourself. Love yourself unconditionally. This is something the negative entities cannot attack. They require us to be conditional and then they can give us plenty of 'reasons' (conditions) for being unkind to ourselves. 5) Envision yourself surrounded by a bubble of impenetrable protection. Some imagine it as thick bulletproof glass. It doesn't matter. Imagine whatever you need to feel safe and protected. 6) Say the Lord's prayer, especially the "deliver us from evil" part. Whatever you do, remember that God loves us all unconditionally and wants only the best for us, but we must rise above our unconscious default of negative thinking and use our free will to consciously choose love over fear. I'm proof it works. Have faith. Love yourself despite your human flaws. And then share and spread the faith and love to others in need. Blessings, Daniel

This is exactly what I'm going through right now! Right now they are coming at me full force. For #1 It is important to me to have a closer relationship with God, #2 is my health, #3 my loved ones,#4 like everyone is worried about (finances, work and bills). Wow... Just#1 alone would I guess make them working over time to stop me from having a closer loving relationship with God. Wow! So they can actually make you sick physically, exhausted and or sore? This is the worst I've ever gone through! I'm not giving up period! To have God in my life, I lost sight of Him once... I'm not going to go down that path ever again. I know better today there is no other way but through, for and with God. This video is exactly what I needed to see today. Thank you God and thank you Curtis for doing this video! The closer we get to God, the more attacked you get. Lord have mercy... This is like a spiritual Covid 19. Only... there is a cure for this spiritual virus and that's God! Amen!😇🙏🌺

@@offTheLeftEye You all are very welcome. I love these presentations and discussions. They are great medicine for the soul, heart, mind and spirit. I always seem to feel better because of the SF's work. This is the third time at least I have listened to this one. Every word is important. Casual listening is not enough for me. I will actually take notes sometimes. I will pause the video and replay certain comments just to make sure I heard correctly. I have had days where I felt like things and people I care about were being attacked, and when this happens I will get myself into a quiet place, and pray. Quiet places can be in car while I am driving my youngest son to school. Quiet places can be during a walk, or while I am doing stretches. I have found myself praying inside my private thoughts when I see people who are in physical pain. I ask God to guard my thoughts. I understand that negative thoughts we do not act upon are in themselves a sort of temptation, but a bad thought can become a seed that grows in weeds, so before negative thoughts take root, I pull them out and concentrate on good thoughts. To me, that is like turning my face towards Heaven. Still, we have days where we are taken off guard by bad or toxic emotions. We just toggle back and forth until we realize completely that bad thoughts are just not worth it, but good thoughts in the face of negative energies of this world keep us from becoming the negative. Each day is a new day and another day to completely remake who we were the day before. Curtis is describing in part a process of gaining understanding of our ourselves and others, forgiving ourselves and others and becoming aware of the negative things that attempt to sabotage our progress. It is like becoming aware you have cut your foot. If you do not notice it, germs get in and an infection begins, but once we become aware, we can make decisions that will remedy our situation.

You are so good in making Swedenborgs ideas relevant in our Time. There are so many ways to think, and talking about the word 'end' for instance. I had forgotten 'the end of time' can mean: The goal of time. That is different. Swedenborg wrote about 'the end of this system of things.' A certain mindset is terminating, a different mindset is developing. That's how periods of turmoil, like the 'dark ages' are recognized, afterwards, few minds can see the present mindset, but fortunately we have Swedenborg, William Blake and Einstein. When the signs of the present time can be read in the present time, that may be "When time shall be no more." ..😊this is the goal. The opposites can be the same thing if you're in regeneration. in temptations? Evil spirits always know our loves because they are their opposites. Yes I have feared the loss of something I loved very much, I felt it for a long time.

Yes, Betty! Evil spirits attack us based on our loves. If we are uninvested, they are uninvested. But if we are invested, we become their prey. It's cruel but very useful to understand what fuels their attacks!

It is not the external world and circumstances which shapes our long-term happiness or lack of it, it is the way we process it. I think this episode contains the handy tools to recognize and weed out the negative and make good choices in how we view and process our experiences. For me, keeping my eyes on God, His love and Wisdom, is the most powerful tool I have found.

Thank you Curtis and team! Wonderful to hear the news from heaven - complicated but important and helpful. The past episode with Jerry Marzinsky about the poor souls who have to deal with evil spirits in their head - aka ‘voices’ from hell - like my oldest son Brian, my youngest brother and my mother - that old episode and reading Wilson Van Dusen - helped me to cope really well with invaders from hell. First of all, just becoming aware of where these bad thoughts, doubts, unhappy feelings, etc. come from was such a blessing. Then being given something practical to work with like repeating the 23rd Psalm until they disappear is such a help. Twenty plus years ago I aggressively put myself in harm’s way by seeking to confront all the negativity I lived with inwardly, and change my inner state through self-examination - aka repentance. That felt like I volunteered to go down into the pit of hell. It sure would have been wonderfully helpful to have had the help of ES and programs like yours. But I have come to really trust the Lord to lead me. I trust that I learn or am exposed to what I need when it is best for me and not before. So when something good comes into my life like OTLE I just think it’s time has come for me. I cannot tell you how much more relaxed and content this attitude makes me feel. And it helps me feel that all’s right with the world - and my place in it. So whenever even a whiff of doubt, envy, distrust, anxiety, fear, anger, pettiness or anything negative tries it on with me, I start repeating the 23rd Psalm if it is really ugly; or if it is a minor feeling of why now and not sooner I just laugh it off as the Lord knows best - kind of like that old TV show “Father Knows Best”. Taking what comes and when it comes lightly and trustingly is a big step forward for me - no - that’s an understatement - it’s a giant leap forward for me spiritually because in part my Dad was not able to act in my best interest, or in a way that would instill trust in him having the knowledge of what was best for himself or his children. So looking forward to more on this ever present and central human condition of evil with us. ❤️

I think they are pissed because I thought there last video was the funniest thing they ever did! Lol that's why they reply to everyone but me again! But they know that I love them when they give us tactical information.... How to know how to detect them and they are thoughts how they come from outside of one's self!!! For example the thought of jumping when one is crossing a bridge.... That thought coming to mind one thinks where the hell did that come from! If I myself was in a blissful state!!! And even though! This was so helpful! I was walking yesterday, I felt old, and unattractive. I am also keeping a diary of some sorts about the things I am experiencing. Much the same thing though. If the good spirits are able to reach us to assist us, then the ones who are not so good can also reach us. It is our lower nature that makes us receptive. I actually find these teachings pretty much in accord with Baha'i teachings. It's just that the Baha'i teachings don't get into details about the afterlife that Swedenborg does. However, I find that almost everything I hear is more or less in accord considering the imperfection of human physical understanding of something not physical. One thing I do wonder about is justice. Swedenborg doesn't mention it much specifically, but implies that justice somehow comes to pass.

I (Karin) have learned to do that with my own parenting. I also had a baby when I was in intense grief, and I had two other children, 5 and 7. Yes, mistakes were made. I struggled with much guilt. But one day I realized that the guilt was interfering with the opportunities I had in the present moment. Things that I hadn’t done in the past couldn’t be changed, but TODAY I could do things with more awareness. There are so many days ahead. Your life with your son is happening now. Forgive yourself for the past. You were unable to function then. Forgive yourself right now for not being at full strength. We each can only do what is possible at the moment. And then find something loving that you can do for your son today. It doesn’t have to be anything big. It doesn’t matter if you’re not feeling strong love in your heart. A small, loving action can carry a big impact. Don’t let guilt block that. He is a child. Today is all he is thinking about! Sending much love to you, ALxsa, and sending prayers. Demons have surely been attacking my passions, I want to get a nice girlfriend, not any one, I have thought of it a lot lately and I have noticed some thoughts of hopelessness have came to my mind like if I could not really reach that objective of mine. Yet it does not make sense because it is not like that is an unreachable thing, objectivelly speaking, I felt the pressure and I have been getting greater financial income than before this year, better entrepreneurship and more music, for I am a musician. You know, you're so right, Curtis. For twenty years, I loved playing music and composing on my guitar. However, not a great singer. My former partner said to me not long after moving in, do you have to do that in the house? Despite having played and sung my compositions for 20 years, I never played again. However, then I took up orchestrating my compositions on computer. The third novel of mine that I completed the score on, I thought really sucked, musically. So, again, I never did another composition again. However, after digging out those songs decades later, I discovered how good they really were - hauntingly beautiful. The musical side of my life helped me to hang together during the times when things were at their worst. However, although this was taken from me, it didn't destroy me as I grew closer to my Friends In High Places - the Trine Unity - who provided inspirations through the Holy Spirit givng comfort and direction. I had one this morning that went: While evil spirits come to 'steal, kill and destroy', (Scriptural) our Heavenly Father brings healing, love and enlightenment. Btw, your news did help and has encouraged me to return to composing again now I have a better grasp on the spiritual reasons behind what happens in the physical.

IMO, thoughts, feelings and desires come to us from the spiritual world. The positive, constructive ones come from above and the negative, destructive ones come from below. We each get to exercise our free will and to choose which to accept and which to reject. Since I learned this and started rejecting the negative, destructive thoughts, feelings and desires, my life has changed for the better. I feel like I have been delivered from evil spirits and I have a more positive attitude and a stronger faith in the Lord Jesus. I will add that the struggle to reject the negative, destructive thoughts, feelings and desires is not quick and easy in my experience. It is an ongoing spiritual battle, it is gradual and difficult but effective and encouraging.

What you say about our thoughts, etc., coming from the spiritual world is exactly what Swedenborg teaches -- but it's very powerful to hear from someone who has been using that approach and found it to be accurate! This is a great video to give us insight into detecting evil spirits at work inside ourselves and also detect evil spirits at work in others as well. Knowing now how these spirits work in ourselves and others, i feel like i can better defend myself and also defend someone else that may be getting attacked as well. This makes me think of mean, selfish, arrogant and other bad acting qualities people have as a way evil spirits use to destroy that person and to destroy good qualities in people that the person interacts with. Curtis I have to say that the way you relate this to simple every day things is so helpful. With as you know my dear Wife struggling with her mental Health it’s just wonderful to listen to somebody who brings the mind into all of this stuff. It’s like finding a Doctor who can really explain to me what’s going on with my disease and how I can manage it and it’s symptoms. This is truly liberating and you know what to be it’s not sort of superstitious and even hysterical. I have this impression of God in fact acting in the physical world and not just the spiritual world. I sense that as you say in understanding even my mental processes I can better deal with or even better defend against these common attacks. Again from C S Lewis who said and I’ll paraphrase ‘there are two equal and opposite errors when talking of ‘demons’. The first is to see them everywhere and the second is not to see them at all’ You could see the same thing about germs or phone scammers. I could become so phobic I don’t go out, I don’t spend on line and I live constantly looking over my shoulder for the next scammer. Yet equally I could disable all of my anti virus protection, I could fail to cover my pin, and I could just leave myself wide open. I totally agree this knowledge of if you like our ‘enemy’ is useful to us all. When my Dad was serving in WW2 I bet when they gathered intelligence on where and when the enemy might attack or probe for a weakness in their line I bet they acted on that intelligence. Going back to the ‘road rage’ thing again if I watch somebody constantly driving dangerously either in front of or behind me I’m ready to give them a wide berth or if need be react safely to what they might do. In the same way I found your insight on the things we truly love very helpful. Without going into personal detail I can confirm that the things I have loved and still love have been the targets of these attacks. The people I love and hold precious in particular are often involved. It’s like where their is peace, love and harmony these spiritual bad guys are always seeking an angle to exploit. Where I doubt they will bring up past incidents to make me feel useless, incompetent and even unloved. They’ll find a fund of this stuff in my head and use it against me. Yet knowing the mechanism behind how they work gives me a major advantage in this spiritual warfare. Next I need to know how to treat my wounds and others who have been wounded in the fight.

Fascinating line from C S Lewis about keeping the balance in our view of evil influences. Having some understanding of how they work is so helpful! And yes, being aware that what we love most is where we are most vulnerable to attacks can give us a better footing to withstand said attacks. How to find the healing is always the question. I like your comment and thoughts and experiences. I just had a 'flashback' while I was reading them. I had an experience once that was quite unique for me. I had just had an amazing spiritual awakening but shortly thereafter I started having OCD thoughts, up to 90 times a day, about having cancer in my left breast. I'd never experienced thoughts like it before. After a couple of days I was mentally exhausted and realised I might need some help with this. Nothing I was doing made any difference. I asked for assistance before I fell asleep. While dreaming a older lady walked determinedly into my room and ordered me up and to follow her. I followed her to the bathroom. She ordered me to kneel down in front of the toilet. As soon as I did I started vomiting and heaving for some time. When I was done she walked me back to bed. In the morning I felt totally fine. I told my husband about the dream. That evening we watched a TV program that included the term 'therapeutic vomiting.' Both our eyes were as wide as we looked at each other. It's an Indian healing modality that I'd never heard of before it happened to me. I've never really believed in evil spirits or 'hell" till recently but maybe that was a taste of it...

I also fully agree we shouldn't be getting around all fearfull & scared either. We will attract those kinds of things to us by assuming there is evil round every corner and conjuring up memories of times where we were scared or ripped off. We are attracting those very things and projecting them onto our future 'movie' Putting the proverbial head in the sand and going 'lalalalalala I cant hear anything isnt helpful either.' (like you said) I used to beat myself up about all the bad things I've done while drinking. When I gave it up it felt like BC and AD. A line in the sand where I could put those things behind me and never worry about doing anything like it again... it's blo%$dy great! @@annahunter2192 I have to say I guess I have always struggled with the idea of Spirits and anything that is outside physical reality. I’m a humanities graduate and I always like knowing that before we called it ‘Science’ this realm of knowledge or understanding was called ‘natural philosophy’. It sort of makes me think of Charles Darwin leaving his Wife outside Church on a Sunday morning and then going for a walk in nature. I can picture him there with his note book, his sketch book, his pens and pencils possibly walking through a sun dappled wood or copse and looking say at a mass of Bluebells just peeking through the soil. I can see Darwin there almost in a temple that is nature and maybe he feels this sense of awe and wonderment. Maybe he feels that it all just goes on and on and maybe he beholds the infinite and is unafraid. Maybe he even beholds God but doesn’t call this essence God. Yet the older I get the more I sense that there is a spiritual reality that exists in tandem with our physical world of substance, matter, particles, cause and effect, that which we can quantify, grade and explain. I sense that although unseen there are other what I would call ‘entires’ operating if you like on another ‘frequency’ to us in this physical world. This is a frequency we are not currently able to perceive. Yet I would agree that like Swedenborg talks about ‘the law of attraction” good is drawn to good and bad is drawn to bad. This seems natural to me. Even in this physical life we tend to gravitate towards people and things with whom we see ourselves having much in common. It’s like saying light is drawn to light and darkness to darkness. It’s likely that darkness exists within us all but God draws us out of this darkness into their light and their love.

All my spiritual experiences, thus far, have had a positive outcome and effect on me, all the way back to 4 years old, when an astral dream made me wonder about our true nature. I do see a helping hand (Divine Providence) guiding me this way and that and was very happy when I learnt about correspondences. I've always thought that's what God was trying to tell me/us ie; the symbolism of a butterfly and a tree was not lost on me. I had a thought last night about dreaming being a correspondences of being here on Earth, having a very realistic 'dream' when actually the real us is in heaven "taking a nap'. All the things we see in the world, as correspondences, could just be ultra realistic dream symbols speaking to us about spiritual truths in another realm. Where dreams break through into our reality or help live your life, predictive dreams, spiritual dreams, inventions, advice etc could be a correspondences for how our Life here can effect things happening in Heaven. Wouldn't that be trippy!! Sorry having an 'Inception' type moment here... x

I just came across this video today due to high amounts of research. lately i have been searching hard for a solution to rid of this evil that follows me for some time...some of it physical, visually, audibly, and spiritually. I do have depression but I have learned to control it very well and keep it at bay. I have dealt with opiate addiction for 7 years now...starting at 16 years of age. Here I am 24 and have been clean for 2 years straight. I am not the only one whom experiences it, but many people close to me telling me of horrible nightmares or waking up to seeing someone in there room. I know this evil spirit is rather strong...I can tell, due to situations and thoughts soon becoming a spiraling stairs to abyss. Actions that I would never even dream or fantasize of ever doing (since its cardinal sin in my religion) is becoming more prominent daily. I feel drained all the time, physically and mentally... I have never been a dull person. I have always been out-going, full of life, helping, all around down to earth type of person. Caleb, I am so sorry to hear you are plagued by this disturbing presence. You are right, many others have had similar experiences, and your past with drugs, I think, opens some doors to that world, so to speak. But don't fear! You can stop it. What you're experiencing is something Swedish scientist and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) experienced in himself and in the spiritual world, and wrote about in his many volumes that detail life in the spiritual world, and spiritual life in the physical world. Your observations are accurate and your perception, that this is not you, that things are appearing - is correct. It sounds like your nightmarish apparition is a bit like sleep paralysis - I have had this experience myself, and so have many others. Also - quick question. Regarding moving through the episodes of spiritual 'fever' growth in our physical life - Did Swedenborg confirms the same type of spiritual growth occurs even after the spirit has moved into a more 'hellish' area of the afterlife? I would imagine that the evil spirits/demons would continue to attack 'unsure' souls in the afterlife as well - even if they are already in hell.

Hi, Jeff! This is Karin. I will pass your very kind and encouraging words on to Curtis! Thank you. Regarding your question: in the afterlife, the "law of attraction" or "law of retaliation" is at play, meaning, what you put out comes back at you. There are immediate consequences. So, if demons in hell attack someone simply for being unsure, they will invite similar attacks onto themselves. Demons are only permitted to attack others in hell if someone has first done something hostile that has invited that attack. Of course, this does happen, because anyone in hell is only there because they crave doing harm to others. Experiencing the consequences serves to tame the hostility, and reduce the violence. In the afterlife, evil spirits cannot attack good or innocent people EXCEPT when those people are going through necessary purification processes in the afterlife to get ready to enter heaven. Evil spirits are permitted to stir up the person's negativity, and attack them through it, so that the person can become fully aware of that negativity and reject it. Once a person has rejected lower-ego negativity, the Lord makes it dormant in that person, and evil spirits can no longer use it to attack people through.
