How To Disable A Sentinel Freighter - No Man's Sky Beyond

New guide on how to disable a Sentinel Freighter in No Man's Sky. The No Man's Sky Sentinel Freighter is also available for purchase as your capital freighter as well. This guide will walk you through how to destroy the turrets located on the freighter and disable it. It's unfortunate the Sentinel Freighter cannot be destroyed, however I'm hopeful Hello Games will implement this in a game update. Thanks for watching!

10 months and we still can't blow it up...

Eventually if you disable the Sentinel Freighter, but still keep acting up (shooting the space station attacking cargo ships etc), you will be attacked by apparently endless waves of Sentinel fighters (at least I fought them for close to an hour and they never stopped spawning, before getting bored and pulsing away). Cost me about 30 shield batteries, but with a Infraknife totally tricked out with S class upgrades, taking out Sentinel fighters is pretty much, you aim....they die.

I did not understand that message either... But it does really say: recharge shields now... What you do is down, A, or recharge shield. Since I discovered that, the safest place is near that freighter, because taking out it's turets is 20s work.

Hey Shaun, maybe try increasing your mouse sensitivity if you are on pc

I put all my upgrades in the positron ejector. It's like a shotgun. From up close it's insta-kill for a sentinel starship. The range of the ejector is just like a shotgun not to far. But you can recharge your shield like anything you recharge. down, A will recharge it once you are low on shield.

Its wierd the 5 red diamonds don't even disspaear when it's destroyed. So it's like there's a sentinel wanted level but no sentinels
