whether going forward or reverse .... my issue has been balance.Currently i use the support of a door or wall to balance prior to my reverse lunge but spacing the rear leg is my next issue as I often want to go side TILT. comments are welcome.

How far apart should the feet be? I struggle really hard to keep my balance while during a reverse lunge and can't figure out if my feet are too close together or if spacing them wider is okay

Does it really matter if your knee goes in front of your toe when you do front or reverse lunges? I'm pretty sure that my knee doesn't go past my toe when doing lunges but just curious why I here this all the time?

Hey Spider! When your knees track out pass your toes you are increasing the stress on those injury-prone joints found in your knees. We advise to avoid excessive knee extension whenever possible ✨

@@Wellandgood hey, back again. When I do foward and reverse lunges is it ok to let my knee tap the floor? I really feel like I'm getting more out of the lunge when I do this.

@@Wellandgood read this recently: ‘Allowing our knees to go over our toes in exercises like squats, lunges, and jumps also helps more evenly distribute the load between our ankles, knees, hips, and lower back. Yes, it might mean the knees have more to handle. But it's taking some of the pressure off of your other joints at the same time.Feb 7, 2023’

Read this recently: ‘Allowing our knees to go over our toes in exercises like squats, lunges, and jumps also helps more evenly distribute the load between our ankles, knees, hips, and lower back. Yes, it might mean the knees have more to handle. But it's taking some of the pressure off of your other joints at the same time.Feb 7, 2023
