What I've seen work for us as well is by showing the before in the beginning but with words that says "how to use.." and then followed by the steps on how to use the product and the ending part is the after result of using the product. Basically, it's like a sandwich-style before and after 😅 We also don't use before and after wordings at all. Anyway, nice to see this vid on how you guys try to hack around it. Gives me some ideas. I once saw an account (hair transplant) putting the before photo of the model as a painting on the office wall 😆and the real model is smiling to the camera. Apparently it works! On the other hand, while FB is disapproving my ads with even a little zoom-in, I see lots of violations every day. Even ads with "before" and "after" written on them, the same as your examples on the video. My phone's gallery is full of FB Ad violations. When I tell about it to my ad representative, she tells me it's all automated and she has no idea how they manage to get those approved. When I tell it to my client, he says, "how do the others do it"😺

Today, i have a question... the images, when we put an image side by side, which means that from the image you can see that it is before and after, let's use the example of the weight loss niche, a fat woman next to a thin one. What Facebook blocks is not this specific image but the words around the image? I thought it was the image itself, because I already tried putting just the image without a caption and it blocked the ad. Can you give me an answer and help with this? Gratitude!

Another awesome video Dara! The split screen format definitely works really well for us. Wondering if you use any third party tracking (Hyros, Wicked reports, etc) for your Facebook ads? Finding it harder to rely on just the data in ads manager because they don't capture all purchases and use modelled data.

I would combine more interests into your ad sets or even use CBO, adding max and min budgets to control spend.

You'd better use a Landing Page for cosmetic products, as you have more space for description. Product Pages are mostly used for clothing or gadgets.

Very timely! as we just took on a client with a lot of before/after content. We've find that images almost always get flagged, but videos are much looser. Haven't yet to be flagged for video yet actually, even tho its very similar to the images/carousel.
