HOW TO DO FAKE NAILS AT HOME FOR BEGINNERS! | Acrylic Nails Under $30!

🗣🗣I changed the title after hundreds of comments saying that these aren't acrylic (which I'm aware of). This video was requested by my supporters who asked how I do them after mentioning in a previous video that I do my nails at home. This is how I do them and they look like acrylics, feel like acrylics, and last as long as acrylics. Why go the extra mile and do the acrylic version with powder just for the sake of it being authentic when you can do it the easier and faster way? Also keep in mind, for the everyday person, this requires much less technique and money than getting acrylics done at the salon where mine cost around $100 and take 2 hours in my city. :)

If you want the nails to last longer you have to buff your own nail and file the inside of the acrylic nail before glueing them down. That’s what I used to do.

i had that problem a few times, i dipped my fingers in warm water and held them there for a few minutes, or just take them off from the cuticles. mine just popped off but it was painful

If you are not ambidextrous, then you can paint them prior to applying them. Use a nail display/practice stand and a small amount of tape or putty to hold in place. It's also beneficial because if you make huge mistake then you can just use another nail and you can also paint them and not have to worry about messing them up while they dry 👌💅💅

The title is a little misleading because these are not acrylic nails. Their just full size nails with some glue. If you ladies were looking for an easy at home acrylic nail set that will last longer, try the Quick Dip Kits that the brands like Kiss and ASP carry. They bring nail tips, acrylic powder and brush on nail glue that you layer between acrylic powder then you set it with the spray cure it brings. These kits are usually about $20. Theres even tutorials on youtube.

Also, I do my own nails by using nail tips and after i glue them down I file them at the bottom, then I put a top coat then dip my nail in acrylic powder then let it dry and repeat once again (or two more times, well til you get the thickness you want lmao) then when dried I file them a bit and put my fav nail color and top coat :) it works great tbh, I did my nails a week ago and they're still fine 😋 saves me $40, this cost me about $7 or so lol.

Rhiannon Relaxation Where I live in the UK, you can get a full set of acrylics for £15 and gel £25, infills are £2 per nail. The shop is SUPER professional too, they last up to 6 weeks and look amazing! But the average price around here is £25

These are just high dollar super glue nails not acrylic nails. Go to Wal greens and get the real set of tips and acrylic powder tips and the brush. For $15 bucks. These will last a day or 2 the ones I an talking about are actually like going to the nail place because you just put them on your nail tips and put the acrylic podwer on your nail and the tips like the nail place.

I didnt get forced to use my left hand . when i was little i only used my right hand unitl i got bittin by a white tip spider on my right hand so i had to use my left hand so now i can use both hands at writing and stuff so in ambidextrous.

These aren’t acrylics.. these are just glue on nails, acrylic nails are nails which are stuck on with glue half way down your nail then acrylic powder mixed with monomer to make the acrylic paste which makes them last so long..

Hi Tina, thanks for the great video. I have a quick question for you and would appreciate your input. I am a working mum with many household chores that need doing everyday (for e.g. cooking, laundry, dishes, applying makeup, etc.). Do you expect that these nails can be durable and long-lasting at least for a week's time? I'd cut them short if that helps. Or would it be better in my case to get my usual acrylic nails done at the salon? I'd rather not if I could, as it is expensive and the whole experience is no longer very relaxing to be honest.
