Quick question. When I get a message from one of my expedition fleets and I have to gonto that fleet to support them, how do I get to that fleet. I've tried warping to them, but after an hour of warping I still haven't found that fleet that needs assistance

It's been a long long time since I got a message like that while a frigate fleet was out on an expedition. As I recall, I had to go to that fleet's Fleet Command Terminal on my freighter. The only option I had was to recall/cancel/abort that expedition which brings that fleet back your freighter. From there, I've had to go out onto damaged Frigates and repair them. I do know that if you continuously send a damaged frigate out on missions and don't bother to repair it, that it will eventually be destroyed. :). But to answer your question to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to directly get to a Frigate or a Frigate Fleet in distress while it is out on an expedition. Again, i think the only option available is to cancel the mission? Thank you for the great comment and Happy Holidays!

Oh how I wished I had seen this before I started expeditions. Might have made the learning curve less steep. A personal rule: I try to have a minimum of 2 warships in every fleet deployment, and I'll even have 3 if its a single focus expedition like mining or trade. For combat missions it depends on the the difficulty. If though but short - five, if though but long - four with a supply ship. I don't know if it actually makes any difference, but I tend to role-play my gaming.

You can send 6 frigates on each of your 5 missions.

For the living frigate can i just warp with the anomaly detector without getting the dream areial first?

No, not to my knowledge. I think you have to get the Dream Ariel built and in your inventory to find your first Living Frigate. Once you find you first Living Frigate, they game tells you that you can delete it and just use Anomaly Detectors afterward.
