About return tickets Arrive with return ticket, no longer than 6 months, just tell them your intentions for staying and ability to apply for visa extensions. You will be allowed in , no problem. Of course be polite and friendly like them!

Now, to comment on topic. While living in Arizona during covid I bought a new Honda Pioneer UTV. Because all state offices were closed, the only way to register and title it was through their brand new, untested, online system. It was a comedy of errors involving 2 days of multi hour phone calls, receiving the wrong plates twice. Once was as a government vehicle. And taking more than 6 months time to correct. All that time I carried proof of purchase and hoped I wouldn't get pulled over, even though the State Troopers had been instructed not to enforce pertaining laws until covid was over. An excellent example of bureaucracy at its best.

I would do it on line but it's only a 8 minute walk inside sm mall and don't have to do the express fee so I save the 1,000, but a great option for people that have to travel to get

$75 for one month and then you have to pay more next month for biometrics and extension again? Seems like it can get expensive over the years if you don’t have a retirement visa. My plan is to stay in the Philippines 5 months a year until I retire, but luckily I’ve been married to a Filipina for 20 years and I can enter the Philippines with her for up to 1 year visa free. Why don't your subscriptions fluctuate? Because you don't do stupid things. I chanced upon a recent "The Philippines Information Channel " post about the nonsense going on in Dumaguete. He referenced the activities as similar to the bunch of monkeys on a special needs school bus. Continuing with more graphic descriptions of these unfortunate children. I took personal insult to his comments as I drove special needs buses for 9 years. It's a very rewarding job that I throughly enjoyed and respected. Fortunately I'm not one of his subscribers, but I assure you that type of commentary does not sit well with me.
