I have been doing Iyengar yoga for over fifteen years and have never been corrected when bending my back in halasana. I now know how I should be doing the pose. This and all your videos give good instructions for safe asana practice.

bolster height = stacked pillow height

Can we keep a bolster under the shoulder as i don't have so many blankets....keep a pillow under the butt( bolster levet) so as to get that buoyancy to go to Halasana? Just like.a pole vault😅

Yes you can use a bolster under the shoulders. Often when practicing at home we have to make do with what we have so using a pillow under the buttocks to get the buoyancy to roll over is a good idea. 👍
