Love watching the two of you together. You play off each other so well and obviously have great respect for each other.

PLEASE remove the background music🙏. For those of us that are hearing impaired, the music makes it difficult to hear what they are saying.

I'll ask our video editor to lower the volume when we're speaking on our next videos. Thanks!

I agree with Cassandra. In my opinion background music is not necessary and creates an unnecessary distraction. We're tuning in to watch the two of you and listen to what you're saying. As I get older my hearing isn't as good as it once was so I appreciate not having background music.

@@PressureCookingToday I second the request from "Cassandra Karuna@ to remove the background music while you are speaking. Those of us with hearing impairments who love your content, would like to hear your voices with zero background music, otherwise we are forced to mute the sound track and turn the captions on. When I make videos, I use music for the intro and outro, but the background is completely silent while the subject-matter expert is speaking.

How exactly do you reheat food in the pressure cooker? I would think that it turns out much more moist than in a microwave.
@PressureCookingToday2 жыл бұрын
It works much better than a microwave. Definitely give it a try. Reheating Food In The Instant Pot / Pressure Cooker You'll use the same pot-in-pot method listed in our article www.pressurecookingtoday.com/how-to-use-the-pot-in-pot-method-in-your-pressure-cooker-instant-pot/ to reheat food in the Instant Pot / Pressure Cooker. insert a trivet add water (1 cup for a 6 quart pressure cooker) add food you're reheating into a dish (I usually use a 7×3-inch round cake pan for reheating food) use a sling to lower the dish onto the trivet (I generally do not cover the pan when reheating food) If you use this sling, it works as your trivet and your sling. use a 5 to 10 minute cook time, depending on what you're reheating

Thanks! Do you think we could do pot-in-pot to pressure cook frozen ground beef? I’m aware of putting the chunk of beef on the trivet but I would like a method that retains the fat for some recipes
@PressureCookingToday10 ай бұрын
Yes, I think that would work. We cook frozen ground beef for 5 minutes in our taco recipe www.pressurecookingtoday.com/easy-instant-pot-ground-beef-tacos/#mv-creation-304-jtr You'll need a little longer cooking it pot in pot.

Do you still have to add water to the sliver bowl ???
@PressureCookingToday Жыл бұрын
As long as there is water in the inner pot, you don't need water in the pot in pot bowl. I'll reheat ribs pot in pot with no water in the pot in pot bowl. It's a great way to reheat things.

You mentioned you reheated leftovers in your instant pot. How do you know how much time to use?
@PressureCookingToday8 ай бұрын
It depends on how much I'm reheating, but I generally use 5 minutes for most everything.

Can you put a small IP container/bowl (ceramic) inside a bigger IP bowl?
@PressureCookingToday10 ай бұрын
Technically you should only use metal or canning jars (or a few dishes specifically made for the IP). Be sure and use a trivet to elevate the bowl off of the bottom of the IP.

I haven’t done this because I’m afraid of putting in a container that is not safe. What type of containers are safe to withstand the pressure? Would any glass container work? Pyrex? Stainless steel? Aluminum?
@PressureCookingToday2 күн бұрын
My favorite pot in pot pan is an aluminum cake pan amzn.to/3ZLpKUC (affiliate link) You can also use canning jars and silicone bakeware. Pyrex and other glass containers are not recommended.
