hey guys! upon request, I made another fashion video hehe. This time I decided to talk about how to dress for your body type! I've been wanting to make this video but was scared since I thought I wasn't qualified enough to make it but I NEED TO BE MORE CONFIDENT wenwenfejwfewe. I need to feel more confident about speaking about my own experience and knowledge
Originally, I wanted to just talk about my own body type and what I thought looked best on me and how I came to know what looks best on me. However, I wanted this video to be helpful to you guys too! So I read a few articles on what looked best for different body types! I included a lot of different screenshots which I credited in the video. some I couldn't find the original source so feel free to let me know if you guys know! no copyright intended!
but like I said multiple times in the video, wear whatever you want! this is sorta a beginner guide for those of you who may just want some pointers of where to start on looking for clothes :) I hope you guys enjoyed this video!

ahh are you talking about me going over what to wear for the body types? if so, I only talked about a few not all of them😭😭 there’s so many different body types so i just choose a few random ones to go over! but all body types can be dressed very nicely!!🩷🩷🩷

honestly i would invest in bottoms that you feel like make you look/feel good, and avoid baggy/boxy/weirdly tailored tops.. they drape weird on my boobs and make me look more top heavy lolol. like i have a short torso so i like lower waisted pants/skirts, and a fitted top :)

ok i have more advice HAHA i've recently been going through my closet and separating my favorite pieces out and seeing what i love about them, and why i like to wear them so much. finding pieces that you love and make you feel good is an awesome baseline for finding more clothes that you love! good luck

woah this was an eye opener for me! I also have a longer torso, yet a pretty defined waist that never really seemed to be accentuated. This video helped me realize that all my high waisted bottoms weren't helping lol. I recently got a denim maxi skirt, in a larger size so it sits lower and reveals more of my torso, and omg i love it so much! I feel so slay in it, thanks Via for helping me realize this! Gonna look into more lower waisted options from now on.

Thank you for the vid because I thought for so long I had an hourglass body type because I find them so pretty and I get so envious whenever I see a woman with an hourglass body type and I use to ask myself why certain type of clothes don't go well on me. Plus, I am not skinny, and I feel like a lot of mid-size of plus-size representation is exclusively hourglass. I also have a pear body type, and I also went through the skinny jeans phase (awful) and now I wear super oversized clothes. Seeing you loving your past self even when you had a glow up is super refreshing to see

Looking at this video inspo a lot. I'm still trying to figure out my body type since IDK what I'm actually. I hate tight clothing, but then I wear clothes like hoodies which hide my body a lot. also there are kibbe body IDs, which honestly changed my life. But they may be tricky at first, it took me a few months to actually be sure about mine and learn how I wanted to incorporate my lines into my style. so i'd say get into them if you're really into style and learning more about your self/body.

ahh i can def make a make up video if you guys want! for the hair part, i was mainly talking about which hairstyle compliments my face. however hair also plays a role in clothing. sometimes if there’s a lot going on or like patterns on ur top, sometimes putting your hair up looks better. regarding height, i don’t think your height matters with your body type. i think those body types comes with a variety of different heights! but ofc it depends on what part of your body you want to emphasize :)

I'm very passionate about clothing and fashion, so finding my style has never been particularly difficult. but I have struggled a lot with understanding what my body type is, and I'd like to move slightly away from wearing clothes that completely cover up my shape. It seems like every website says something slightly different! It's especially never clear to me whether to use a shoulder or bust measurement, since my shoulders are the same size as my hips that sometimes rules me as an hourglass, but since my bust is smaller than my hips I sometimes get pear- and no matter what all I see when I look at myself is a rectangle or inverted triangle lol. All that aside, videos like this inspire me to pay more attention to clothes that can enhance my natural self instead of hiding it away while still maintaining my style that is dear to me

its such a struggle that the same measurements can look different on different ppl too bc i have narrow hips but ... a dumptruck if you will so that looks different from someone with the same measurent, but wide hips and a flat ass
