It's important to engage the handbrake(or Electric Parking Brake if available) after putting in Neutral, before putting it in Parking Mode. This will save stress on fragile pin-mechanism of the car, which holds the car stationary in Parking mode, as the load is transferred to the parking brake first

@@polovw89 You can do either. People generally think it's a compulsion to shift to N in traffic signal, else it will affect gearbox because of wear and tear of clutches, which is not true. You can shift to N and engage handbrake or keep pressed the brake pedal.

@@DirectShift I have Kushaq AT and it’s my first car. So your videos always help me learn new things about my car as it’s the exact same as Taigun. What are your thoughts on replacing wiper blades? As both Kushaq and Taigun has cheap framed wipers and upgrading to Aerotwin will give better performance.

Yes. The wipers are not that much good. Some have replaced the wipers (even the one used in Brezza). You can replace it, just try to get it done from SC to avoid any warranty issues. Although there shouldn’t be any warranty issues but SC guys warn for it in every little modifications

no, when you want to upshift, you can have throttle on and shift using paddle shifter, but when you want to downshift, you need to leave the throttle and then downshift

when you upshift, you dont have to take your foot off the accelerator, but when you have to downshift, you have to take your foot off the accelerator and then downshift

In short, in bumper to bumper traffic you can just shift the gear lever to manual mode so that it won’t keep shifting between D1 and D2 frequently. Alternatively you can use S mode so that D2 won’t be shifted so quickly. Exact same thing applicable for down hill, most preferably manual mode, so that engine braking will work while downhill. In uphill case, S mode will work perfectly. This video may help. Sometimes Manual Mode and bumper to bumper traffic Sports mode gives more mileage as per some owners observation. But I suggest no point of driving in M mode because of better mileage

For 1.0 AT, it’s ok to drive in manual mode in bumper to bumper traffic. Cars with DSG gearbox need that. In highway if you are driving normally then D mode is fine. For enthusiastic drive or frequent overtake S mode helps better

I think your speed is too low. Try going to higher speed and change to third gear

You can downshift anytime using manual mode, but for upshift your car should maintain specific speed to avoid knocking
