Omg Tom it's not fair you have that big beautiful boat you need to share it 😆🤣😂! I watched you for a long time now and there is no better show then yours I've watched you grow into the finest walleye fisherman I've ever seen and I appreciate how you keep it clean and professional. I've turned your channel on to friends and family from here in Minnesota to Colorado to Texas and everyone loves it! My favorite videos are you with your dad Shelby and Mitchell. Remember you'll always have criticism but stay the course and look how far you've come!!! I would like to see you make a live video someday.

As far as the live, I don't like it and do think it's "cheating", but it's a legal method, so do what you do! LoL my dad is in his 80's now and I've seen that man call more fish trolling with a hummingbird 66 flasher than most guys with live scope today! I think we get too caught up in methods, catch and release, technology, etc that we forget that we fish to have FUN! God bless and tight lines!

I hope technology advances fast because I'd like to be able to afford a live setup.....until then I'll pay attention to the areas you find fish and look at my own lakes and bodies of water. If you can afford it then sweet but I'm not gonna harp on someone that can afford it because I can't 😉🤷

Great video as normal... Nice boat just a question on boat selection hull types and sizes.. how much does your boat impact on the fish stealth wise ...how much water you push and thrust needed to move and hold position wave noise hitting the hull...how far is a good distance to stay off the fish so the don't feel pressured? Your opinion is valued

Hey Tom, Yesterday I landed a 23' walleye in winter kill lake water. 8.5 deep. Traditional sonar Helix 5. She came off a mild mud bottom slant. 75 degrees water. On a spinning bait. I've never had much luck fishing cold fronts bites but many on the sonar. How would you fish cold fronts with traditional sonar?

I'm new to targeting Wallys and to using any relatively new electronics. Idk if Tom has covered this but from videos and Humminbirds site, w my limited perspective I can't figure out why live imagine is a game changer worth the money (I've also never used it myself). SI you can find spots quickly, DI you can see if fish are there. If you know how to use information your SI and DI give you, you should still be able to put the bait in front of fish right? Are Live and even MEGA for that matter is just more resolution to make things more visually appealing or what's the huge advantage? Just another confirmation in addition to the SI/DI set up? I've gone to THE Amazon and fished for a month for less than the price of the live transducer so I'm just trying to understand what functional value is added exactly.
@TomBoley Жыл бұрын
It's far and away the most accurate way to make extremely pinpointed casts. It has many uses. But obviously it is expensive and maybe isn't for everyone. If you enjoy high level electronics it will be your best friend

Tom , how do you feel about drop shotting in a flowage? My impression is that one would get snagged too much. Thoughts?

@@TomBoley makes sense. I'm fishing a northern wisco flowage this upcoming weekend. I have the walleyenow app btw but what aspects or conditions would dictate whether you use a spinner rig with crawler or leech vs plain hook on a drop shot vs a slip bobber?
