It didn't work for me all. I cooked the red-cabbage, strained it so I didn't waste it (I ate the cooked cabbage) and boiled the eggs in the water with a pinch of baking soda which turned the cabbage water blue. The eggs didn't take up any color. None. I've had them in the blue dyed water for a few hours now and they're still white....

Same here, I'm looking up videos to see what I did wrong but I did it exactly the same way and after 2 hours in the blue water they're still white

@@GinaFromCalifornia You need to boil the eggs first and then soak the boiled eggs in the cabbage water (I added a bit of vinegar and baking soda to the water). I also washed the eggs with odorless soap and wiped them with vinegar before I cooked them. Apparently the eggshell's outer coating prevents the dye from adhering to it so you need to wash that off. This method worked for me
