How To: Easily Catch Sharks (ACNL)

Another short and simple guide on how I easily catch sharks.
Some people are totally great at fishing...others not so much. So, I find this method helpful, hopefully you will too.

You have to to it really quick

If this happens, it means you didn't reel it in fast enough. Some require you to be fast and pull it in immediately when the bobber goes down. Even a nanosecond to late can mean the loss of the catch.

The bobber makes the noise, and goes down, but I don't get the catch. At first I thought that perhaps the sound was made, I was still pressing too early or sharks have different sounds than a regular fish. So I waited a tad bit longer to make sure the bobber was actually down. And it got away nearly instantly. So I'm sort of at a loss.

i use a tecnique of lightly tapping the a button after every bite to calm the sense of pressing down right away.

I actually prefer to do island farming from 4 PM to 6 PM because that’s when creatures and rare fishes spawn for me. (I’ll hunt the stags and beetles down another time, I get scared easily of the noises they make when they go away.) I actually got every type of shark after 3 trips back and forth. I also got tons of rare fish and bugs that were worth a lot. I do remember getting a lot of those Orchid Mantis, Ocean Sunfish, Napoleonfish (however you spell that), Agrias Butterflies, and Barred Knifejaws. Well, I can say that I fed my bank account today. I just made almost 400K from that island farming (+ the tropical fruits and the perfect oranges and pears I’ve been growing).

It was interesting that this is the technique you provided at least for me cause I have been doing this to catch sharks since a couple months after I got the game back in 2013 and it's what I do to catch every fish in ACNL nowadays. I called it the blind fishing technique and I was wondering how many other people used this method to get consistent shark catches in the game. I am a tad surprised how well this method has worked for others which is evident by scrolling down the comments here.
