I tried this technique a few years ago and it was an epic fail. You make it look easy and I think once I'm done with the 2 projects I'm in the middle of I'll give this another try. I love your videos and even if you are making something I doubt I'll ever make, I love watching and I always learn something new. Thanks!

Been a huge fan of tunesian for quite some time but will never be able to afford a decent set of corded hooks. Have done blankets by joining strips worked on regular hooks, and learned traditional entrelac last year and am currently working on a blanket in that style. I'm so thrilled to have found this version and can't wait to try it. Thanks so much, hugs from down under 🇦🇺

I think this will be my first blanket project. I just learned how to do tunisian crochet last week. So far i have only made a scarf. My new needles will be in next week. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial

LIke many others here, I have always wanted to try entrelac but have been intimidated by this. You always make these new skills look so much clearer so after completing my current and promised next project, this is my next one for a family member's new baby girl. Thank you!!

I notice the corners of the finished blanket are at an angle instead of pointed/squared off. If I wanted the point in the corner, is there a way to do the triangle in the opposite direction (pointing out, flat side on bottom)?

Do you always bind off at the 5 th row? Seems like sometimes you don’t.

I never thought to do entreat with this yarn. On my way to the craft store! I would recommend using Tunisian hooks that have the plastic tubing so you would have more flexibility. This afghan hook in the video seems cumbersome and may cause pain later in the hands, jmo

Your tutorial is fantastic! However, I’m not a fan of Tunisian crochet mainly because of the curling edges. I see that the blanket curls, as well. Have you tried going around the blanket with regular crochet stitches to help flatten it out? Does that work? I’d like to make your design ❤️, but only if I can get it to not curl. Thank you!
@claraphiri41803 жыл бұрын
A larger hook and blocking the finished work helps with the curling. Try playing with a thinner yarn and larger than recommended hook size. I used a 6mm hook on a 3 weight yarn and saw a difference..
