Make sure you hold the reset button for few seconds till the reset screen comes up on your screen.

There must be a Hard Reset Button located on any one side of your Box. You can also soft reset your Box by going to settings>Backup and Reset.

I found the reset button it was inside the spdf hole and wiped the cache and wiped data to factory and still it won't load only the boot logo then turns to black screen :(

Restart your device and clear cache through Android settings and then try again to factory reset your device by following the instructions carefully shown in the video.

Not all reset buttons are where you say - some are in the AV socket.

Pointer, using keypad type remote. You can also get pointer on your screen using IR remote by pressing the Pointer button once and then press Up/Down or Right/Left Key

Unplug the power adapter and short the pins on the Android box. The centre and ground pin , should work

I have a similar box from Entertainment Box and ive been trying to get to the recovery method to wipe my box, but whichever way i try, either by pin hole or in the settings/reset box method, it does nothing. The box skips the recovery menu and boots up as normal. Is there any other way exept by taking the box apart as im not comfortable shorting pins out etc.

My Android Box came with the Kodi application already installed....will this erase that Kodi app????

Whatever came installed wont be removed but whatever you downloaded and installed will be removed.

This isn't necessarily true - if the person who supplied the box added Kodi the factory reset will wipe it!

Hey Tim, You can still reset through the Android Settings. Go Into Settings and Try to Find Backup And Reset
