1. Do the inner work and inner exploration to see what you are truly passionate about. 2. Don't be afraid to quit/ fail/ let go of things you don't want to pursue (you may not choose your perfect career the first time around, so don't spend too much time doing what doesn't light you up). 3. Be resilient.

Yes, i always think to myself. If i was single what kinda storyline would i like my future partners to know about me? How can i introduce myself and feel proud and confident of the woman i am? If i lack something or feel like i can improve in certain areas i make note to work on that! It makes life fun!

I feel this right now. I’m 25 and still with my first boyfriend from high school. He’s gotten less ambitious and slovenly as time has gone on and I’m starting to feel like his mom. It’s really sad and disappointing but I don’t want to look back and wonder who I would have become if he hadn’t been holding me back.

For so many years, I was so lost and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I realized I had been living my parent's dreams and thank goodness I woke up and realized it sooner. I can't agree more with that emphasis on "This is YOUR life." Inspiring video, Erin! :)

I am currently deep into this work and figuring out how to align with my purpose. I know I want to to start a business related to interior design, but there are so many ways that can look like, whether I take on clients or build an online business. I am in the testing period right now, where I am building my social presence and an audience, and analyzing what works and what doesn't. I love that you talked about experimenting but also showing resilience. It made me think of the book Grit which I'm currently listening to. I've typically been the person with many interests and I have developed skills in SO MANY different areas, but I recognize that I need more grit and focus now, pick something and give it my all to see where I can go.

That's so awesome you have that clarity Helene! There is another book you might like called 'The Purpose Project' which reinforces the concept of experimenting, trying and taking on projects that align and push us towards our purpose while we are still figuring out how we want to go about it. If you ever wanted support in any way feel free to reach out 😊

Experiment, I'm in a self development phase. And I'm just realizing that I love it. The possibility, trying new things, changing, growing and becoming the next new best version of myself. I'm just realizing to appreciate it and to let go of fear that's hiding behind perfectionism.

At the beginning of the pandemic I was about to graduate university, my mom had her dream job with an airline, and I was planning on a year of travelling very cheaply with her discount. Ending at my cousin’s ranch in Australia. Instead my mom got laid off and I was sick with Covid-19 when I should have had my graduation ceremony. Now I’m nearly 26, super depressed, having issues with food, my relationship is on it’s last legs, my ferret just passed away and I am literally living below the poverty line while working in health care. My rock bottom ends here. I’ve decided that’s it. I’m getting an inheritance hopefully soon when my grandad’s house finally sells and I am determined to use it to get my life back on track and save. For now I am going to audition for voice acting jobs on the side. I’m trying TikTok I’m trying writing short stories for contests I’m trying making fashion content on Instagram, and when I have the money I’m starting a KZbin channel. I love channels like yours but I think I’d like to fill the niche of motivation from a low point. I want to build a viewer base that can grown with me and see me take that journey from step one, at rock bottom.

Hey Erin! What would your advice be if your qualifications completely conflict with your ideal career !? For example I'm 19 and starting a History degree this September yet I've always been interested in a career in healthcare. None of my other qualifications relate to that at all either and I have zero experience! I feel stuck and really don't know what to do as I don't know where a History degree could lead either x
