Alright! Old video, but it helped me! Got the controller working again within minutes. Failed connector, for the same reason as in the video. Cheap third party extension cable from Amazon pushed the wire away from the connector. Shoved the wire back in and voila

This seems to be the problem with the majority of these classic controllers. Sega, PS, Neo Geo etc. You are better off replacing the entire wire right away and save time on trying to find where the bad connection is.

I will Anthony, thatnks. I actually have an graphics issue with an early AES board that I'm working on. I have a video posted on it, but im yet to fully find a solution. I'm currently waiting on parts to arrive then I can test my theory and hope make a successful Part 2 of the video. Ill check out the forums for some tips and assistance.

I have a Neo-Geo AES that is in need to be fixed. I had it for years and never came around on doing so. Yep I know his work, great guy and interesting website. There's some very talented guys here in Australia who are into Retro stuff. You have probably heard of Tim Worthington who makes the RGB boards for the NES and N64? He goes by eviltim on the forums. etim.net.au/shop/shop.php

This arcade stick needs some 24 MM sanwa buttons installed into it.
