Best fix is not to buy Samsung. I’ve used old dishwashers and everything with no problem even with age. Bought new Samsung appliances and they are all garbage! I’ve had to replace a drain pump for the washing machine. Power cord for dryer, and this for the dishwasher. We take VERY good care of our stuff too. It’s so cheap and flimsy as well.

Thank you for the video. Very helpful. One very important detail left out of the video. The impeller screw is a left-hand screw. It removes clock-wise. I damaged the head thinking it was a standard right-hand screw. Once I realized this, I was able to remove it even though I had damaged the head. I replaced it and everything worked fine. I find the design poor in that most other dishwashers have a filter that is easy to remove, just twist and turn, so it can be cleaned frequently, whereas this one requires tools and a fair bit of time, without a practical reason. In the end, I think this is a disappointingly inferior dishwasher. I have an LG at the cottage, and it washes fine even when overloaded, because it has more nozzles and also has better pressure. I am about to replace it with another LG.

The "Water Tube" TWISTS off, don't just yank on it. I broke the tabs that hold the arm to the base by just yanking and now the top rack cleans like shit became se there's no pressure.

Shit that’s the problem I’m finding. The little tabs that hold it in place are gone. Replacement part is almost $150.

Even after all that, some glasses in upper rack leave a little residue. What could it be?

Having the same problem here. Did you find a solution?
@markh6465 Жыл бұрын
@@zTech187 Not really a solution but reduced the number of items in the upper rack and only put 4 glasses in the center. The rest of the glasses unfortunately go in the bottom rack when there's space. All this helps a bit but still there are days...

That's true I have the same problem. Looking at other samsung dishwasher solution videos button looks like samsung brand is not as good as others. Others are also in the same boat as we are.

I just took apart my dishwasher and also discovered my chopper blades were broken. Where did you order new ones from and roughly how much were they?
@markh6465 Жыл бұрын
@@travisgalay8427 you can get the blades at local hardware stores or appliance stores

In your video you do not tell that impeller 's screw is reverse thread. It's a very important part you left out in a video. We broke the screw, had to drill it and it cost $20 to replace it.
