Wow! I never leave comments on youtube.... BUT THIS.... This is something I didnt expect.... Here is my story, in short. 4 reinstalled windowses, 5 programming forums. 10 questions on microsoft official tech forum. 3 days of trying to solve the problem. I almost gave up , but accidentally saw this video and decided to try the method for fun!!!!!! IT WORKED!!!!!!! I HAVE NO WORDS!!!!! Man.... Irdak Inasa Well i dontknow how but i dont get any ''Missing d3d9 files''from games anymore. Everything works well for some reason. After for about 10 times trying to instal the directx runtimes and it crashed it somehpw works. Still i dont why and how it fixed itself.

just type in "software patch". then click on the link that has software patch as the website. Then type in "DirectX 9.0 full package" and click on the link that says what you typed in

Have you tried right clicking and select "run as administrator"?

If u really wanna play the game and this dont work just right click on the shortcut. click properties and in the box next to target just ADD -OpenGL Should work

All you need to do is to update your GPU drivers and make sure your GPU supports directX 10

Nope, tried that. My directx 11 has an internal error. It isn't installed propperly. and keeps cockblocking other directx installs. The fucker is almost impossible to delete. The drivers always support every version of directx. The problem is that directx is a fucking pain in the arse when trying to re-install it. I guess we'll just have to wait for a new version to come out. ;( fuckin adobe.

I actually had the same problem with directX, I couldn't run COD AW because of directX unrecoverable error. I fixed this by getting my windows 7 production key and reinstalling/updating windows. But if your pc/ laptop was pre build this might be a little hard to do. (I have a custom pc where I brought all the parts and put them together myself so reinstalling windows was easy for me)

Windows 8 dont have problems with dll or direct X problems thats what happened to me but when my computer become window 7 it have a friggen dll error and directx errors so if i were you i will change in windows 8
