I got it to work again! Nothing was doing it until Solution 4, which I was very skeptical of, it felt like magic when I saw it working again! Thanks for the tips, guess I should've listened to my cartridge blowing days...

thank god you even showed all the versions because i was confused why one of my purple controllers r1's didn't work, thank you cause i was able to find a different broken one to steal it's buttons

Solution 6 worked for me, I took both top buttons out and saw the inside of the controller was damaged and sticking out (may have been dropped / thrown 😅) luckily I was able to pop it back in place and it works fine now

When putting the trigger mechanism together dont just put it at the topmost position theres more to it. The gears have to align properly like timing an engine. If they aren't aligned properly the mechanism won't have full range of motion if any. So I do advise you make another video on how to properly align them now that you know. It could also cause more wear to the motor and decrease battery runtime as the gears bind. So take some time and make sure the black arm on top has full range of motion! Also note the possibility of a damaged ribbon cable, thats the issue I've had after doing hall effect mod. Inspect the cable for rips and damaged pads on the end

Give a nes or snes controller anytime think dogs knocked monster drink into my r1 plus kept knocking it on floor with hair etc. I used cardboard hitting it. Gonna hoover tomorrow. But my left analog stick pulls to one side. Shall I just get a new one or take it into a shop? Thanks bud my R1 button seems better now

Bro no my controler fell then my r1 stopped working I saw this video I was gonna go do the first thing then I dropped my controller and r1 worked again how 😂😂😂
