@@HtheKing Holding up better luckily! And these stretchings that I've been doing regularly definetely have played a role. I also changed my mattress to a firmer one. The main source of pain is not entirely gone but I can go on with my life with much ease

​@@javitoy7529that's good to hear. I have this weird tingle in my upper back especially on the left side every time when I bend over and do something for example making my bed. But these stretches which Jeff provided to us are really helpful and I do feel much better after doing them

I have been dealing with this all my life. I even had back surgery on my lower back 15 years ago, but things became worse. I only did this once, along with the video, except the machine work, and I can feel the tension release that I've sought all along. Thank you! I will be doing this religiously henceforth. I can't thank you enough for yor "rehab" advices. Suffered from shoulder pain, lower back pain and upper back pain (all of them on my right side, hmmm). I’ve had these problems for years working as a 6’3 physical therapist doing home care and causing costo-transverse joint and costo-vertebral dysfunction where manipulations instantly abate pain followed by soft tissue mobilizations and then these well thought out exercises, where I have to avoid excessive protraction. This SERIOUSLY helped me right now. After a chiropractor visit, $50 copay, massage, and lost sleep. Nothing worked to relieve my mid back pain except this! Thank you Jeff, you came through again. Can't thank you enough. Was having the worst nagging pain on that X for years. Started when I had a build project where I was hanging sheets of plywood on the ceiling and walls. Subsequently ach3d from even pushing against a wall with arms raised above the shoulders. 10 minutes of this instruction and I feel better already.

I love you Jeff, I've had upper back problems in that exact area ever since seeing a chiropractor about a year ago. I'd never once had them before that and now it won't seem to go away and I'm gonna start all of these exercises today.

Appreciate this video! I've had lower and thoracic problems for over 25 years. I eventually learned how to take care of them through a process of elimination (along with help from a good P.T. such as yourself). My thoracic region gets 'locked', causing significant pain, and the BEST thing I've found is to literally grab my ankles, knees straight, and then arch my back as much as possible. This allows me to 'pop' my thoracic vertebrae, and when it does, it gives immediate relief. For my lower back, nothing brings relief nearly as much as using an inversion table, which I do religiously most every day (I also do upside down crunches to hit my abs/core). Both these measures work great for me, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Lovin' your content!

Bro I love you so much. Honestly you are god sent. I'm a landscaper and I workout after work and I get the worst back pain and I had no idea what I was going to do and was fearful of it being like that forever. But after I tried these stretches and exercises I felt sooooooo much better. I was literally tearing up doing the back exercises it felt so good. I fell off of a landing gear door back in 2016 and landed on a large metal structure across my thoracic area. Rotated my vertebrae and have had muscle spasms since. To say my upper back has been tight since then would be an understatement. These are the first moves I've done that have actually made a difference. Thanks!

This was incredible, been having pain for weeks, and after a couple of minutes of the can opener, went from virtually no rotation to over 45 degrees, and pain is gone! This man is a wizard!

Had this pain FOREVER and although the lacrosse ball sort of worked and yoga definitely did- this was the first explanation as to why the yoga movements did help. Now, I can simply focus on the key exercises/movements that really matter when the pain kicks in. Absolutely the best channel on KZbin. 🙏🏽

THANK YOU ! I can't thank you enough ! I'm 50 and decided to start working out to get rid of the "Dad body" I worked out for about two weeks and I got pain in my upper back between my scapular area. It was bad I knew it was because I was out of shape but it wouldn't go away! I watched this video ,and gave it a try .OMG it was magic !! Maybe 5 minutes and I didn't hurt it was like a switch . I'm going to do this routine a couple more times for a couple days than back to the gym and I am going to do these exercises after every work out . Thanks again

I saw all kinds of videos on that subject you talked about to relieve back pain in that area. Most of them didn't help very well. But when I came across this video, I tryied the steps, my pain was gone with 2hrs. Pain free, so now I will start doing the steps in your video on a weekly basis, thanks for your knowledge 👍

Thanks so much, I have been doing these exercises for two weeks, and the progress that I have made is more than I made during a year of physical therapy. note, I also used a leg machine (low weights and two sets of 12 or so reps) to strengthen my hamstrings, this mitigated some tightness in my lower back as my upper back regained strength, and today I started to hang on a bar with my feet on the floor, which has also helped. Thanks again, this video is amazing!

Thanks Jeff. Had been looking for a cure for many days as I do thoracic extension for chest press. Every time I extend my chest I felt pain and my spine is properly locked down and I have no more room to go. I thought I was extending too much. But you showed me the medicine man, thanks a lot.

Really interesting thanks. I watch your channel a lot Jeff. I have suffered with back pain most of my adult life. Typically I lock between the shoulder plates and experience lower back pain. I already do one of those exercise every morning, saw it on another vid of yours, I'm gonna try all the others, they all make a lot of sense. Thanks again!

I find that I'm getting a bit of click crunch through the back of my shoulder joint at the start of doing these exercises, but it has helped give me some relief in my middle back. Thank you. I will continue with these and get the relief and mobility back. 🙂

I tried some and they do feel good, though my back pain is from destroyed discs. To all the guys out there that have messed up spines, just do something! Im seeing amazing results, and its been 8 months, with one long break. Its so motivating when you see a change, even in a broken old beat up body like mine lol. Good luck out there!

This might be helpful for me... I have been subbed to you for I think at least 12 years or more now... And I don't leave many comments just use the information... But I have been unable to train mostly for about 9 years from medical issues... I have a plan with an instructor hopefully starting this year through the physio clinic and specialist endocrinology too as the meds they put me on could of contributed to making me really ill for a long time. I really hope to get the extra weight back off and get something like strong again as I trained at home upto seven days a week for years and even if I can't get rid of the pain from the musculoskeletal and neuropathic issues being able to train again would mean the world to me. As always great material and insights. You guys are awesome x
