okay :( first - go back to regedit put zero insted of 1, select hexadecimal and then click ok, restart your system and then change the zero to 1 this time, restart it and see if it works or not. or second - check from the settings of your system whether you game bar is disabled from your system or not, for this goto settings and then cick on gaming and then Game Bar, check whether its disabled from there or not. or third - open command prompt as an administrator and then type the following command "sfc /scannow" press enter wait for it to check and resolve all errors in your system and then try my fix. Okay in that case first check whether your game bar is disabled or not at Settings ----> Gaming if it's enabled and still not working then make sure all your system apps are up to date as well as your system version. If all else fails change the value to 0 save it restart your system, then again change the value to 1 and then restart it again and see if it helps or not. If all else fails and nothing else is working then I would personally suggest you to use OBS Studios for normal desktop recording and for gaming if you are running a Nvidia GPU use Geforce experience recorder, enable it from your Nvidia Geforce experience center and activate it using ALT + Z hope it works :)

Yes you can record particular tabs using Game bar like Chrome, Microsoft Word etc but you can't record the Desktop using Game bar

@@arg99 trust me bro i just found out today about this app and i use a free app for almost 2years and it always used to lag... i am feeling ashemed about why i didn't found out this early..but better late than never... you own a sub for this valuavble info..it's just changed my recording to another level. You don't have to paste the link, you have to simply copy & paste the "REGISTRY PATH" given in the description and then press enter. It's mentioned in the description as "registry path used in the video", just simply copy that.
