Great video. This should be taught over and over again every year of school to students. I think it would close "the achievement gap."

These months I have been stressed out all the time, and I kinda lost the will to do things and to be more active. But one of the worst things that has happened to me is that I've totally lost focus. Since childhood focusing was not a problem for me. But I feel the more time passes, the worse it gets. If I don't multitask, I feel distressed, even when I'm watching movies on my laptop, I keep playing sudoku on my phone, or vise versa. And it just mekes me even more distressed. Thanks for the video, I feel it'll really help me.

Hey, exactly the same thing happened to me! I was an A- 1 child with the capacity to literally integrate and learn lessons in 1/ 3 rd the time taken by other, ' normal' students. Now, I simply cant focus.

The best technique for me is the pomodor technique. You set a timer for 30mins and focus on one subject for this 30 mins

Just facts! When there are non stop demands and no chance to just relax it is very difficult to focus. Too many tasks and they all matter! I've been very sick and the expectations never stop. This is very helpful.

Dandapani is a curious character, worthy of a web search or two. Annotations pop up throughout the video leading us to other interesting videos. Links in the video description also lead to interesting places. And... Well, this does appear on KZbin... Can anybody else appreciate the irony?

Selecting particular environments for particular types of jobs sounds cool, but is hard to achieve for me right now. So instead would designating specific hours of doing specific jobs be also efficient?

i found that a lot of my concentration issues are because i'm worried i will hyperfocus and lose too much time, and this time could be lost on doing something i realise hasn't been helpful afterwards/there hasn't been significant results from my focus period. does somebody relate here?

Everybody is selling something. All these experts are a joke. We all know what we need to do. It is not a matter of ignorance, it is a matter of self discipline. We got to start doing it by building habits and discipline. No book will turn of your phone so you can get you job done. You have to turn it off, seat down and get done what need to be done. Don't allow more than 1 hour of KZbin or any other app distraction a day and you will be more focused and get more done in a day than you do in a week.
