How to get a good night's sleep can be a difficult thing to accomplish these days. Especially if you are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, experiencing stress or anxiety - sleep is going to be even more important for your health & wellbeing.
In this video I speak a bit about why sleep is important for our health, why being extra sensitive can make it more difficult and IMPORTANTLY what you can do to help yourself get good quality sleep, which really is a foundational part of self-care.

Thanks Nichola, a really helpful video. I feel like I am happy with my morning routine of yoga and journaling, but for some reason I really struggle with an evening one. But your tips about getting the energy out and turning off the stimulation are what I needed to hear I think!

Ah, I’m so glad you found it helpful. I have found I’m sleeping much better if I have a good dance/short burst of cardio in the late afternoon and then finish my evening with some mindfulness meditation and stretching ☺️

@@sensitiveyogatherapy I tried a wee dance last night and turned off the screen, and then did a bit of stretching, really made a difference! Would not say no to a video on a ten minute evening slow down routine! Thanks so much for your videos!
