Some content for root canal for you. If the nerve of the tooth is still live there is no need for a root canal treatment. If it’s done gently with the right product that isn’t correct A good whitening gel will have minerals to help nourish the teeth and prevent sensitivity

Hi, I'm 56 and getting some transparency mainly on the two front teeth, although clean they are starting to look aged. Is there any hope regarding these transparent sections or will the whitening make that more obvious. And how many applications do you think it might need? I have custom trays but just need to buy the peroxide from the dentist. I must admit I gave up last time as it didn't work after about 8 applications in a row but thinking of re-visiting it ... I can't give such a specific reply or clinical advice. That transparency can be due to demineralisation or wear through teeth-grinding. Whitening will not alter the level of transparency; it is hard to say if it will make it look more noticeable.
