I watched this one where this Chinese girl had a bad experience at MAC where she was asking for help and the worker didn't help her because she was Chinese and she said this worker was coming to help her, when the other worker that was rude to her said don't help her, she is Chinese and she won't buy anything. Then when she left the worker yelled.....hahaha I told you she wasn't going to buy anything

So right! Just like those that constantly worry about "NOT ENOUGH" Not enough money, not being 'good enough' Not having all the 'stuff in life' They don't get it, it's like Karma. When U are good, helpful to others, it comes back multiplied. That is also what people are remembered for after they are gone. There is much abundance to be had. It would be awesome if more nice people could get jobs there with your tips. One of the reasons I stopped buying MAC cosmetics was how rude their "artists" always seem to be. I used air quotes because I'd expect an artist to actually know something about the products. I stick to Make Up For Ever now. Better quality cosmetics within the price range.

They're mostly going to refuse BUT you can print them yourself on watercolour paper. There are plenty of free templates on the web to print from (MAC and other templates). Best of luck!

I think it depends on the person doing the hiring. I know several people who work and have worked at MAC who aren't professionally trained.

Hi I have a couple of questions. I absolutely love mac! And I've spoken with them about getting a job and they told me the 2 things I needed which were a resume and a portfolio? You didn't mention the portfolio; is this normal? Also you said to wear all mac makeup and I'm totally down to wear all mac just not founations or skin products... Cause I have extremely problematic skin that I can only use certain particular foundations/blushes all oil free or else I'll break out. Also I don't have any job experience or previous jobs... Should I seek out a first job and gain experience or will they higher if the interview goes well and they see my skills? Also you gave some really get tips! Thank you so much for making this video!

You MUST wear ALL MAC products, including foundation, etc because they will ASK you what foundation and etc you're wearing on your face. BUT, if it IS a huge problem for you, just wear any foundation that works well with your skin and kind of looks like a MAC foundation that they sell... So lie and tell them you're wearing that MAC foundation.

We dont know what your customer service skills were like when you worked at MAC. But most of the MAC stores that I've been to employ makeup artists who have such a negative attitude.
