I got into digital marketing about a year and a half ago, I’ve been struggling figuring it out and I had bought courses but I have been a sponge trying to learn more and a successful marketer I knew told me to buy his course and I bought an older version and since then I’ve been really attacking Facebook ads and smashing it for every client. The way Billy thinks about advertising is on a different level of understanding and complexity. The art behind the advertisement takes much more awareness and understanding than just the targeting approach. I actually do the opposite of what you do in terms of focus for advertisements I spend a lot of time creating the actual content because I am stronger at that than my copy so that is an area I have focused on to improve.

Powerful interview, all the way to the end. My biggest takeaways are: 1. The time to jump on the trend in creating video content is NOW! The more you wait, the harder it gets folks! 2. My IMPERFECTIONS in creating video contents are not only fine...they'll earn me a badge of credibility and originality before my ideal audience. 3. I took billy genes course over 2 years ago. He personally jumped on the sales call and gave me some incredible advice based on my situation. I do social media for RV dealerships. Wow, wow, wow, this is by far the best online marketing interview eva! A million thank you's @ Ed Mylett... on the down low "We do want to see more of your house in every interview". lol. There was so much content and googled when he suggest to google. My aim is to build a brand. I am paying my dues now. Every time I sweep my moms floors I keep reminding myself (i want a housekeeper or a robot vacumm), this is only temporary and I must work on my business more. I am constantly working on improving myself. I just want to be a better version of myself every single day!! "Steps to invest".

I absolutely LOVED this episode! Found Ed through the podcast, but watching on KZbin is such a different experience. I’m a Realtor in the Boston area trying to grow my business. These tips on marketing and social media are SO helpful and they are easily applied to my strategy and business plan for 2019. The little bits about imperfections and our journey really spoke to me. Even though we sometimes measure ourselves against perfectly curated content, there’s one little piece is missing - some way to truly identify and invest in the person / business. Thank you Ed!
