Got it, omg that was a lot of bad guys, took forever to kill everything, then I thought I had accidently killed the dog, because I couldn't find it. . lol to tame it was easier than the cat. Only needed 2 hearts, so not as bad. Thank you for the video. Lifesaver.

I have the dog and haven't done the cat quest yet, so I'm not sure what the quest giver needs for it to be unlocked... but I do know for certain it isn't the cat quest. Unless it bugged out on me and I got both quests at the same time lol. In that case, my bad lol.
