Success isn't built on success. It's built on failure, so you need to develop a growth mindset and you need to be willing to learn from your failures. I learned this from a book called 'Chase No More: The Path To Success And Wealth'. It talks about how using some secret techniques you can attract almost anything and anyone in life. Probably the best book I read about navigating life from the early adulthood.

I don't usually comment. This channel makes really nice content and formulates it exceptionally well. I don't engrain every lesson, and it's not just this channel but it's certainly a contributing factor to success. I'm pretty much 30 days into this school semester while being consistent and one of the big concepts that works for me is the "forever wins". The thing I keep track of is time spent studying math. I'm at 4 days, 4 hours, and 50 minutes recorded. That's just over 100 hours. Or 3 hours and 20ish minutes a day. Consider this comment a thumbs up of approval, and a show of gratitude. Thank you.

Funny, a lot of times I heard (paraphrasing) how our most personal thoughts, its everyone thoughts. This video sums up a lot of my life, I didn't work hard enough because I thought I was smarter than average, above some mundane tasks, I would find a "hack" and I ended up behind so much. Took a long while to see how volume and consistency pretty much trumps everything. Took a long while to stop trying to know how to get good at something before even trying it. And see how even people considered genius worked their fkn ass off, sorry for the rant but this video reasonate deeply with me, thanks for this!

Ooh the summarizing with the Red Sox theory was amazing! Great teacher you are. I have a question- do achievers oscillate between levels ? If so do they have moments of dropping the ball? Is it that if you’re at level 3 50 percent of the time, you can afford to be at level 1 and 2 for the remaining 50 because the momentum will get you somewhere ? The reason being I often find hard to get “out” of the funk after performing bc at peak for like 3 months but remembering that I haven’t lost all progress being funky would help probably

Thanks for another educational video! Do you have any tips for finding your passion when you're feeling lost or merely existing day to day?
@butterfliesrainbows25683 ай бұрын
Sounds like you're in survival mode. Be compassionate towards yourself and take off the pressure to excel. Maybe focus on feeling safe where you are for now. Later, once you're settled and past this phase, you'll have more energy and head space to find your passion. One analogy is that we can't worry about the colour of the wallpaper and decorating the room when the house is on fire. Deal with the fire first. Then rest. Later you can build and redecorate. Hope it gets easier for you. All the best

While I appreciate the story telling skills, even if a person is a genius they still have to study and show up. Like what’s the alternative? Things don’t simply just fall out the sky. There’s cause and effect. I’ve known a Stanford drop out who now lives in a trailer park and that’s because that’s where he wants to be. Life is about choices and showing up is literally the first part. Being a genius or naturally skilled has very little to do with success , while it does help. Consistency is key.

That's a fantastic video. I've been doing a lot extra in some areas of my life for quite some time, but I feel that doing it in all areas would be too much. So I rotate a little - not with healthy living or my family, but with my work and the projects I"m passionate about I don"t give them 10% extra (or more) all at once. Doing that also seems to me more like a male thing, I'm very disciplned but also realize everything has a rhythm for me and goes through cycles. But I love your videos - they are funny, creative and full of great information. Thank you! 🌈🤗

Hi doc, I hope you reply because it will mean soooo much to me. I am a soon to be 15 year old that started a harder high school called gymnasium. I got into the class with some rich kids and i feel envy when i see them because i think they are better than me. I think that i will need to study more and still get worse grades than them. But i simply dont want to care. I never studied till now and it has really got to me. I am trying every day to study hard but i feel like i cant do that. I feel like i dont have friends and i am scared of future. I dont know if grades really matter that much or if i will succed in life and what should i do in life. I also envy the other kids because they have the money that i dont. I feel like i am poor but i am not poor but still around them i feel like it. I think i dont have the money to pay the tutors because i often see my parents saying that they cant afford something and know i dont even eat at school because i think i am going to spend too much money. I dont know what to do and i am trying to help myself and also my family is trying to help me but i fear the future, fear being alone with no friends and i just want to go back in time.

Friend, don’t fret! You got this! The adolescent/teenage years is a weird time for almost everyone and being in a situation like yours can make a lot of insecurities come to life. Your goal in this decade should be to build lifelong good habits. Build skills, gain experiences and look for people that push you to be better than you are now and genuinely care about you. Everyone else will fade into a distant memory of your future life soon to be. I have a video planned about how I would’ve done school/life differently so I hope that helps a little bit :)
