As a software developer, I'm not surprised to hear what sounds an awful lot like "do things faster, fail faster, analyse better, learn faster". That's just called "life" for us!I think it's pretty well accepted that that's how we get good. I've had 30 years of it. I'm sometimes TIRED, sometimes hate the constant pressure ... But I'm still standing.

I've always preferred “Learn faster” over “Fail faster”. Learning is the goal, failure is just a byproduct.

Sucks that you don’t get more views on your vids because I think they are great. I like how you are always straight to the point with a few examples to support. No need for an hr long video just to learn 1 point. All I need are the cliff notes and the main idea.

I hope I don’t sound pompous or anything, but whenever one wins at something relatively early on, there’s no or little drive to focus on the precise specifics of how one won & its those subtle details that are the fine line between winning or losing. When one loses (at least in my experience), the drive to analyse these details is far far stronger, leading to a more refined and cautious mindset, leading to more wins. (I’m referring to the specific activity of financial trading).

Let me help you with what you did well, and how the video can be more efficient (13:15) Strengths: Simplification, great articulation, visualization, relates to audience. Improvements: Some people may not get abstract concepts like "quality" and "efficiency" so perhaps give a simple systematic example. Thanks, great video!

i have a question I'm a person who keeps winning and that caused me to be frigile when failing. How can i combat this? I don't think it's logical to purposely fail, so how can I be sturdier under pressure?

Pick smaller things that are a bit outside your comfort zone but not world-ending if you fail. Let’s say you are good at sports but not good at salsa dancing. Instead of picking up another sport, guess what you’re doing Friday night? 😀

If you're consistently winning, then you're not pushing yourself. Stop reaching for easy goals. Don't be proud of being a big fish in a little pond. I can pretty much guarantee that you're not the most amazingly successful person on the planet. Statistically, it's unlikely. Even then you could still strive. There are bigger goals out there. Don't limit yourself by what you think you can do. Stretch.

One diet doesn't work, try another. One exercise routine doesn't work, evaluate why and try another. Try a different routine, more consistency, more accountability. Try different methods of motivation, different kinds of inspiration. You only fail when you stop trying. I say this as a woman with PCOS who also has a mighty high hill to climb. You're not alone. Get support and keep trying.

1:50 your comparison is not logical here. Rich will become richer has a different premise, it is because of generational wealth, not because of abilities. Here the NHAI example you are talking about is current abilities. For sake of clarification, A more logical would be comparing a researcher with a good academic/college background, a good connection with academia and politics higher up there and in contrast a research with average academics and no connection with academia and higher politics 👍

What's a "loser"? What's "success"? This video seems very sure that most self development ideological premises are actual truth. If you think success is something that applies to qualifying life you're living in a fantasy and if you even think there is "formula" to guarantee it let alone for living life, then... I don't even know what to tell you. Must be nice to sell snake oil.
