5 years ago I did rhythmic gymnastics for 2 years. We stretched for splits and practiced other moves. A year after I stopped, I continued to stretch on my own, but I wasn't using any instruction. Just what I had learned from class. After lots of stretching and pain and not seeing any progress, I stopped stretching altogether. It's been two years, and now here I am. This is my fourth day in a row doing Alivia's leg, hip, and back stretching videos. I haven't made much progress, but I'm not giving up. I have wanted to get my splits since forever ago, but only recently I have found the diligence to actually do it. Thank you so much Alivia!

Sara wirek I know I'm not her but I started with my side splits and it helped me get into my middle splits a lot faster than I would if I didn't do my side splits bc your hamstrings will be more stretched and flexible

stretching to the point of pain is counter productive. it’ll only make your muscles tighter so make sure to go to YOUR comfort limit!
@jada_51575 жыл бұрын
I know this has been a long time ago and you don't dance as much anymore I think, but I'm starting this, and then other videos you did. I thought I was flexible for it to not hurt as much, but I was wrong. The pain seemed unbearable and all I wanted to do was stop and give my body peace. But the way you were coaching and what you were saying made me think that I wasn't the only one in pain, and If so many other people can do it, so can I. I only just started dancing and I am 14 years old, too late to start, but not too late to give up. Thank you Alicia for all you have done, to help me and to give me hope. Love, Jada

Alivia, you re making me believe in myself! I pole dance (unprofessionally) but I am not stretched at all. I used to start stretching and ending it after 1,2 weeks; and same again and no progress until I found your videos! And thanks to the coronavirus I am finally getting, slowly and with a lot of pain, my splits, bridges and all. It is not perfect but I believe it will! Thank you! Love from Poland!

I'm home alone right now and as we were doing the middle splits I was screaming ahhhh this hurts!!!!!! 😂 but yet I still kept going with it then by 15 sec left I felt a sharp pain in my left leg so I stopped but then I realized it was just my muscle telling me that I held it for long enough had my left is perfectly fine but the more I do this routine the close I get to my middle spit

I've been trying to maintain a stretching routime for a long, but I always stop because of lazyness. Now at least, I was able to keep one week of routime. I don't know why your videos give me this such motivation, I actually believe now I'll keep my routime. Your voice is so peaceful and your personal history is inspirational. Thank you! *** I'm gonna back to tell the results soon. :) *****

well this answers my question as far as hip flexibility tips go. this is another video that im just now giving a try. I moved past this one somehow. I asked afew weeks back for a hip flexibility video, now that I found this video forget it lol. I've improved alot with your other videos. but I should see even more results with this one. this is just what I've been looking for. so I will do this right now and I just know I will feel amazing afterwards. when I stretch with you I always do. I don't have Instagram 😥, but I will tell what my results are soon. so I'll give this a go and I look forward to how I will feel after it. it's always a pleasure working with you, even when I have bad days. you always make me feel better and I wish the same for you everyday of your life.😘.
