Wow fantastic. Had not realized that heavy exercise is a good fast setup for ketosis, it has always taken me at least 48 hours! Thank you for having pointed this out. I lost over 40 lbs in only several months leveraging intermittent fasting, ketosis, eliminating fruit apart from lemon water in favor of vitamins, eliminating sugar, I find now that I maintain well on carbs sticking to 1 evening meal/day. Sugar is hunger, sugar is pain! May flip that meal time to morning, but not being able to look forward to the meal during the day could be an issue psychologically. Avoiding sugar makes it easier to avoid snacking because sugar/carbs make one feel hungry. Great info here!

I fell into Ketosis unknowingly by having my gut biome totally destroyed by prescription blood pressure medication, dropping 55 lbs before quitting all medications cold turkey, after not being able to eat for three weeks and drink water for two weeks. I’ve remained in Ketosis for over a year now, and have learned a lot about proper nutrition and herbal remedies from this experience.

I turned 66 in July. My energy has been lost for a couple of years. I would exercise lots of the time until then. My weight has gone up a bit but I can't get it off 😡.
