I saw this video and after changing the region to USA I have like 20 new apps on my screen including Netflix, Hulu, Disney and Amazon studios. I am over the moon. My advice people is don't download unknown sourced apks and apps on to any smart tv.(including Android smart tvs). Ya there great but after time they will f#*k up a smart tv ie (Malware/viruses). Your tv will lag and won't preform as good. Make life easier for yourself and just get an android tv box. Xioami mi boxs are great, u can then get Google play, kodi, filelinked and you can sideload apks. Keep to whats available on the lg content store and have an android box, Safest option. great video by the way 👍

@Benjamin Chavez I have an LG 55UK6500PPC and stuck on the Philippines region. Maybe if you have an LG standard remote you can try the secret service menu code. Mine comes with a Magic Remote so that is not an option for me. Though.. I don't worry that WebOs does not have that much apps as I have a Xiaomi MiTV box which is an android tv box, so I can install any android apps. It Works like Amazon Firestick. Maybe you can considered that option. The box worth around 3K its 4k Netflix certified so you can watch 4k content if your TV is 4k capable. There is also tons of android app that you can watch movies and tv for free.

How can I download apps from Google Play, like "Dplay" with content from Discovery channel? Even when logged in to a Google account it doesn't work. Somehow the built in browser thinks the LG B9 is an Apple iPad. JIJO JOY you have to choose games and apps. Then depending on what you are looking for you can filter your results to entertainment, educational, games and other stuff. But I’m not going to lie LG is going in the wrong direction when it comes to there interface and what apps they allow in there content store. My gfs cheaper Sony smart tv and pretty much every Samsung tv can watch Disney plus, Hulu and other stuff. So I’m disappointed in LG for making me search for a way to get more apps. It’s ridiculous!! It’s f***ng 2020 for S***ts sake!!!

JIJO JOY, Yes I would sign up but I’m not sure it’s necessary. But my LG TV is registered to my Google account for supporting apps like KZbin, Amazon Prime and Google to reference a few. If you have a newer WebOS model like 2017 percent or newer you should have many options for apps if not all. I currently just use my Web Browser and stream live tv including ESPN, MLB Network, Disney Channel, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and many standard to advanced tv provider television packages from most if not all television companies. I will leave the link below I suggest everyone who reads this to try it out. This link saved me $ 39.99 a month off my cable/internet bill. If you have any more questions I will give you or anyone my personal opinion and help anyway I could. Hi! Could be that your TV is locked for the Africa and Middle east. You could try to reset the TV to factory default (in the settings menu) and see if during the initial installation you could choose some other country. If this won't work, then you will need to connect external device such as Xiaomi Mi TV stick and use apps through it.

Finally spoke to tech support. They took remote control access to my TV and finally decided that the particular model of my new LG TV wouldn't allow me to move my HDMI sources to the list of Apps. Had to go to the Dashboard to get access to the HDMI's. I liked KZbin TV but we dropped it during the trial period because of major buffering problems, especially during rewind and fast forward. Plus the picture quality was good but not quite as sharp as cable. My internet speed was probably the problem.

What HDMI cables do you suggest for the LG B9 OLED

You don't need anything expensive - especially if you need lengths up to 5 meters. During tests I use several cables - from extremely cheap to moderately expensive and they all perform the same. The only downside of cheap cables is that they have thinner plating on contacts so they will more quickly lose contact and you won't be seeing anything on the screen. But if you don't plan to frequently plug and unplug it, it will be fine.
