Just found your channel! Everything you say in this video is so true, and for me I think the most important part of getting out of a relapse was listening to what my providers recommended. When I relapsed earlier this year, that meant dropping out of school and going inpatient, which honestly probably saved my life.

How are you doing now? I hope things are getting easier. Something that's helped me lately is that as soon as i decided to turn things around again, I wrote a list while the thoughts in my mind that led me to relapse were still fresh in my mind. I wrote down each thought and then i wrote the things that had convinced/enabled me to go against it. Then as things began to get more difficult in recovery again and the thoughts came back, i had the answers ready. It worked really well because i had covered all the loopholes and everything because i knew what ways my brain would try to trick me and i already had it all covered! I read it every time i'm tempted to engage in behaviours and it has made it easier not to. Also... i am in love with your cat!!! xoxoxo

that sounds amazing! such a great idea. I've also done something similar and found it super helpful, it's great because you know exactly what your ED will try and tell you and exactly what areas will be hard, so you know exactly what to counter and prepare for. So happy to hear that it's been working for you :) I'm doing well, thank you for asking, I appreciate it!! I will actually be posting an update video soon.

Thank you, I need to try my best to get back to my meal plan, but I always compare myself and it feels like in eating so much more than everyone else

Great video. It's really hard when you don't want to get out of a relapse though. Like, how do you tell people that you're struggling again if you want to keep struggling. I hope you're doing well xx

Definitely still letting them know what's going on so they know what's going on and can keep an eye on you, but you're right, it's very very hard to get out of a relapse if you don't want to. Maybe talking to them could also help you get your head in a bit better of a place and you guys can start with small changes that feel manageable right now? Hope you're doing well xx

I have just found your account because I am in desperate need of some support. Thank you for sharing so much. Thank you. You are speaking to my soul. I have just moved to another country to do a Master's so I lost my therapist and my recovery group with which I was working. I couldn't delay the master's anymore, I had to try to go for it. But it's so hard. SO HARD to be alone. I tried to reach you on Instagram but I actually cannot find your profile! Are you still using it?
