I say this to guys all the time. Stop being so results driven that you miss/forget connecting on a human level. Guys often think to themselves if I bench press this arbitrary number, if I get this specific car, if I check this random box…unknowing that a lot of stuff that men seem to find important, I as a woman do not. I can’t emotionally/mentally connect with the number of pounds you press. I can’t laugh with your car. Guys tend to present these things and when I ignore them and try to get into who they are as people it falls apart. I like smart men. I can’t see that big beautiful brain if you’re so results focused that you’re hiding it behind an act that some random online personality taught you.

Very true !! Seldom do women care what material things you have or how much money you have. They want to know who you truly are on the inside. A good example is that homeless guy with the sign in the Walmart parking lot. He's always pulling the women.

@@briar35981 I never said women don’t care about money. In a capitalistic society money matters. However, the things that men think women care about very rarely do we actually care about. You have men out there trying to put on crazy amounts of muscle when the meathead/super buff type is more male fantasy. Men aren’t usually the best communicators in my experience. Men seem to understand nuance a bit less than women. I see this in dating coach videos where men are like “f these women just ignore them they come running.” Women want to know that you have a life LIKE ANY OTHER HEALTHY HUMAN BEING. We don’t want to be ignored and emotionally hurt. As for cars, I know a well kept car, or one that’s got a little bit of extra razzle dazzle, but I don’t know enough about cars to give a flying f about all the detailing, the make and things like that. Men will spend lots of money on stuff like this in part of wanting female attention, and then wonder why it’s not doing the trick. Cars, beyond getting from point A to point B, are more a guy interest.

My ex broke up with me last December. And has been living with me for months. I finally told her she needs to move in with her dad because living together is only building resentment for us. Yes men do have a harder time getting over a lady. I found myself begging her to give me another chance. And what it was I did to make her leave . No answer and got ghosted after 6 years. But she disrespected me a lot. And I lost my confidence within the relationship .

So I got a story. Recently I told a woman I was dating for almost 2 years the truth about me sleeping with someone recently while we were drifting apart a bit. We were never bf and gf but still I know it’s 2 years together “dating”. After I told her and showed her changes, She tolerated me for about two weeks then said she’s not over it and hurt she needs time and space to think so me going in fight or flight I did all the mistakes you say not too lol. I was just "friend-zoned" last month around my birthday, & was trying to make that work until she decided to keep reminding me of how "happy" she is being alone, & that her life is now less stressful. The final straw was around 4th of July weekend I had just learned that my cousin who was like a brother to me just passed away, which I'm still processing the fact that he's no longer with us, so after talking with her about it she decided to come pick me up, so we can hang out. Probably a dumb move on my part, I'd decided to give her a chance to cheer me up, but again there she was talking about how happy she is being alone, & her life being less stressful since she doesn't have to be in a relationship, so I ghosted her, & rather than leaving me alone she decides to leave me messages calling me names, & all kinds of childish nonsense, so basically kicking me while I was already down.

Hi Ponti, I have been watching your videos for a long time. It's really helpful to dating and building self confidence. I have a question I hope you might have a piece of advice for me. Long story short, After 9 years of my relationship, we fought for some reason and unfortunately at the same time the new guy came into the picture, he flirted with her and she got attracted to him, She broke up with me but did not clear the reason. I applied for 40 days No contact but I failed then I decided to apply for 3 months with no contact and improved myself. I reconnect with her in an upbeat and cool way. And one day she asked about my life (gf and all) I told her that yes I am dating a few girls but not in a relationship and then she opened her cards and told me about this new guy. She explained to me that she is not in a relationship with him but she likes him they don't talk daily but whenever they want they talk and they can talk about anything that can happen in a relationship. She is not sure about the future with him but she also mentioned nothing happened between them physically. 6-7 months gone they just talked casually. at that moment I told her to talk to him and decide to get together (to show her that I don't care) but deep inside me want her back.. Now I need help to know how I can get her back or would it be possible to get her back. I am not talking to her daily and not showing any emotions.
