How to Get RARE in Feral!

Feral is a brand new game that will be released by WildWorks (the same people who made Animal Jam) before March 2020. Today I discuss the topic of rares / rarity system in Feral, and how you could even get rare yourself! It was just released for Jambassadors to beta test. It's in a closed beta test at the moment, but soon it will be in an open beta test. The actual public release will be before March 2020. Eh well don’t try and get rare during the beta, all our progresses will be deleted when the game actually comes out. So it would be best to only put these methods into practise when the game actually comes out, there will be no ‘beta’ items

Also considering how the animal jam and play wild games went down, everyone knows what will happen if they collect stuff during the beta, which takes away the whole rarity when everyone has it. I'm more excited for this game because I will finally have another platform other than PonyTown and Spore to make my OCs and personas/fursonas to play as while I have fun doing things. Feral definitely has my interest, I'm 18 now and Animal Jam is growing very boring for me because all everyone does anymore is trade, argue and be dramatic. Animal Jam to me is like middle schoolers locked in a cafeteria forced to interact with each other to get what they want. Feral seems fresh and new, even in its beta stage it looks fantastic, I have high hopes for it. And for those of you who are under 13 that I've seen in all sorts of places say they'll be playing, due to COPPA laws I highly recommend not lying about your age just to play the game. Wait until you are 13 or older, that way we all can enjoy ourselves without the risk of fines or anyone getting in trouble. Its more strict than Animal jam is with age. Not to mention, the possibility of being found out and losing your account and progress is not worth it. Just stick to watching gameplays until you have access to the game. This isn't a bad thing, its just to give a secure safety procedure for people under the age of 13, its not because you're young, but because of the law. Be safe and Jam on. :) (probably gonna get attacked for this but hey, its the internet, you win some you lose some)

I'm not too interested on the rarity system/how much feral will be like animal jam, but I'm sure I'm not the only person excited to see how much the company has improved on their (animal jam based) games? Ofc there is animal jam play wild, but they still had to maintain that simple animal jam feel. I'm very excited to see what they have in store for a fresh new game for older players. :D pug fam!

I don’t think animal jam was ruined by rares in fact it probably saved animal jam in a way. It gave players something to work for which is very important in a game if you want to sustain a player base, players need to be able to have goals. Of course not everyone wants rares on animal jam but the rare system is not toxic or ruining the game.

Glad this game isn't a rare driven game. People are EVEN MORE likely to want to scam people then. For me. Fer.al is a feel-good game for me that just gives me good vibes & positivity + this game gives vibes from Feral heart except.. A lot better and less toxic

Rares don’t need to be a core part of this or Animal Jam, AJ was originally supposed to be a game where it not only had a fun virtual park to play as an animal, but it also educated kids on some animal facts, and I think they still do that, but nobody really pays attention to them, it’s all about rares this and rares that, at least I hope this game is a work of WildWork’s mistakes turned around for the better, because I’m definitely not hoping for this game to become corrupted like the last.

to be honest, i only collected rares and stuff because i thought trading was fun not because i wanted to be the rarest player in the game. thats honestly the reason why i started playing animal jam, to be able to trade. so i do hope that trading will become somewhat of a big thing in the feral community, but i just hope that if you're not rare in the game you won't get bullied as much as you did in aj.

I wouldn't let rares be much of a top priority, since in animal jam I could see that people would sell the for money and scam, so I kind of wouldn't want much of a rarity system in there but if that's what they want to add they can go for it. 👍 By the way is the beta only for PC and Mac? I have a android phone and on the website you have to download something..? I couldn't do it so I have to wait for another beta testing group to happen xd... Oof

Honestly, I'm hoping the rarity system doesn't become too big of a thing in fer.al. That would honestly ruin the game for me if it became like animal jam where the only thing anyone cares about is trading and getting rare. Even scamming people to become rare. For me fer.al is more of a "work for your items" thing. Rather than a trade and scam your way to success then flex all your items on new players. I also feel like in animal jam, now that the "virtual economy" has been well established for a very long time, it's extremely hard to climb the ranks and get "rare". And tbh ever since i really got into fer.al ive sort of left my animal jam account to rot. I just think fer.al is so much better. No snobby "rare" people, a generally nicer community, and when you look at someone who has some nice items, you know that they worked for it. That they went and hunted for the items, and crafted that with their bare paws.
