Cool video! I have a question, what if I already have a social media channel about creating a side hustle and I would like to add ucg to it. Is it better to create a seperate social media account? Since the alghroritm of tiktok/insta fwvour if it's consistent the same kind of content.. So I'm a bit confused if I would promote my ugc content (from different brands and industries) to my own accounts... I would say no, right? I work for a marketing agency, and I can tell you most creators charge waaaay too much for their skill and experience, or what they offer. Some as much as a very senior creative director. Even they wouldn't charge that much an hour. There's a very inflated sense of what the work is worth in the market. I politely pass and move on to the next person. Without a doubt, there's great talent who understands costs and doesn't overcharge, but most people starting out, fresh on the rosters often start way too high.

I hear you, but this video is about How to get started as a creator, not how to create. There's a difference. There are lots of other videos about creating specific types of content, but if you want a general explanation of how to do each section, you may need a course. There's sound, lighting, editing to cover, just from a technical standpoint, then there's the management and planning of the production and content release, then there's coming up with content to begin with, the strategic thinking and trend spotting, plus ideating and executing of course. It's a lot for one video, that's hours of learning. Just start somewhere, anywhere, in one of the areas and go from there, little by little and with patience.
