Hi Ben. I find the title of this video a bit misleading : the video actually describes how to grow your FB group. But what then ? The title says : how do you get "tons of customers" from your group ? And that is the step that I'm not clear about at all. I have already followed your advice of campaigning for low-cost FB page "Likes" - it worked highly effectively (2000 likes at 0.02€). But nearly all new followers/likers are from economically disadvantaged countries : even if these people join my group, they are still most probably unlikely to be able to pay my European-cost-of-living therapy rates... So, apart from having a more respectable number of followers to my Page, how does this help ? I am interested in your FB groups course but I'm worried that all these questions won't be addressed... Thanks !

Thanks for the video Ben, but what about this idea of helping others in other Facebook groups first, providing this lots of value to the group, is that still not an effective way of getting clients other spamming the group with your links? I would imagine creating your own Facebook group takes years to gain traction.

@@BenHeathSo, I have run two groups I’ve taken off quickly as of late. Both are over 40,000 members one is about our city and the other is about Christian rock music. Those are averaging around 1200 new members a week. My business is selling T-shirts, hoodies, sports shoes, etc. for my brands, so am I to be adding products specifically towards these group members interest? I feel I am close to soon making money here. The bad thing is when Covid hit. My Business came to a stop. So I’m trying to get back on track. I’m hoping my groups can be a part of doing just that. I have a question, I have no interest in building a group I won’t be able to monetize. So like this group would revolve around my niche correct? I’m an agency owner but don’t want to sell courses etc. how would I approach bringing in only members of my niche? And providing value to them? See what I’m saying?

Good point - I would only entertain online courses if you have an establish audience. So it's something I would add onto content creator. I don't know many people succeeding in that space without an audience anymore.

I set up a buy and sell group about a year ago and am struggling to make a go of it due to posts shared by members going to the Discussion' section and not the 'Buy and Sell' section. I can't find a way to move the posts between sections, nor a way to delete the Discussion section altogether. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Would you recommend asking for group members email addresses when they answer the questions to join your Facebook group? To send them a free gift and add them to your email lists etc

That's not something I do as I think it will reduce Group growth - but you can do.

Just start really cracking down. Best option is to introduce post approval and get someone (or yourself) to check every post before it is published.

This is interesting, how much do you think a 90k members group (extremely high quality and perfectly specifically niched group for our services) is worth? For example, they have been quoted 10k but they don't monetize the group much.
