I start your video, pause your video and go do something so I won't feel guilty watching. You are great inspiration. (The dishes are done now.) Having a vision board is beyond my technical ability but my husband and I made a wish list when we moved into our retirement home 7 years ago. When we complete a project, I highlight the item. This has kept us focused over the years and we can look at the highlighted projects and see how many of our goals we've actually achieved. My other two secret weapons for inspiration are Tina Turner and Carlos Santana. I can't sit still when I put on their music so I always listen to them when doing housework.

Excellent video! These are the ideas that are helping me on the road to giving me peace of mind. 1st, I chose ME. In choosing ME, I wanted to do things that made me feel better about myself. I wanted to stop saying what I was going to do and really do something to accomplish some of my desires. 2nd, I decided that I wanted to get my place in order not just for when company came, but for me . I like the way I feel when things are clean and in order. 3rd, for me decluttering was key and that takes a whole nother mindset. Before, I was good for stuffing and hiding things away in drawers and closets. Now, seeing drawers and closets organized is just as exciting as seeing the rest of my place coming together. It's a process and I work on it daily, that way I am not overwhelmed. KZbin and TicTok have been a great help in inspiring me!! Thanks to you too Nikki😆

Great video!! I am someone who suffers with extreme depression at times and I have a lot of health problems. I live in a One bedroom flat which I think in America you call apartments. I have my own front door which is great as my last property did not. what I’m trying to say is that I have watched a lot of programs with regards to how I want my flat to look like and a lot of them To get ideas on how I can organise or make my flat better and I have looked at a lot of cleaning videos my name to try and get some help on how I can maintain my property because of my health Some day I can only managed to get out of bed and go to the TV and lie and watch TV all day because of my depression or if I am feeling unwell with my leukaemia. but as I think about my flat when it’s nice and tidy and cleaned when I do you have the energy to do it I think to myself is there anything that needs to be changed to this place and I kind of think no even though I have A lot of little bits around and other stuff it does have a place where it lives in My Home and the stuff that I do have makes my home feel lovely and cosy and not empty like someone who has their home with only a few little things like that lady who is form Asia and tells you to only keep what is Sparks you joy. sorry I know this is long what I would like to accomplish in My Home it’s been able to make it easy to maintain.

Your such a clever woman.I’ve emptied 9 big plastic containers in the last year.getting rid of thing that we don’t need.why do we need Xmas dishes we use for two weeks.then pack away or 6 sets of towels for 2 people or baking pans pie plates 6 .i only make one pie at a time.thanks.im82 we don’t need homemade bread.or broth made for a whole two weeks.thanks.your so wonderful.the freezers full .it sits there for 2 months.

I work from home but I am also a caregiver to my 26 year old daughter who has cerebral palsy. I am also a payee for my brother who lives with me. I am just tired at the end of the day.
