I'm 60 in 4 months and have stopped my hair loss and am gradually growing it back. First I started doing inversion table a few years ago for a spine issue and noticed some hair coming back. I take Saw Palmetto and am now hardcore on my diet Mediterranean-ish, low carb, no processed, no added sugar. Currently doing 15 minutes per day on inversion table. In last few months I added deep scalp massage while inverted, and derma roller 1.5mm micro needles. My hair loss issue appears to be blood flow related. Tight scalp tension with fibrosis. As I'm encouraging blood flow thru mechanical means and it is allowing my dormant miniaturized hairs to regrow. Now I feel comfortable not wearing a hat. 😄

I hope anyone that's interested in hair restoration has already tried Fina and Minox for at least a year. I'm back at a norwood 1. Someone told me a couple weeks ago that I have so much hair its ridiculous and I have more hair than a teenager. I think whats most impressive to me is that I only do the topical minox once a day, sometimes every 30 hours pending my schedule. I do however use 4 caps at a time, I have so much hair now it takes a bit more to get the scalp saturated, I started with two caps when it was thinner.
@downoАй бұрын
Hey Senick, so amazing to hear I'm so happy for you! However what do you mean with caps? How much mgs of finasteride and minox do you use?
@SenickАй бұрын
@downo thank you! I use the topical foam minox but I heat it to about 100f to turn it into a liquid and use a dermaroller for application. The liquid minox has prop. Glycol, it makes your hair greasy, the foam does not, so I "melt" the foam down into a liquid and then apply. I use about 4 full foam cap fulls before I turn it to a liquid. I use 1.25 fina every day now, but I started at 1, I upped it because I'm also on trt and have more dht to combat.
@downoАй бұрын
@Senick thanks for sharing, that's interesting! Tbh I've been using a liquid/spray minoxidil (5%) from a brand called Linn and it hasn't made my hair greasy. Actually it dries and thickens my hair, which is usually greasy and thin. Even if it doesn't grow my hairline back I'll keep using it because of how it makes my hair feel. I was wondering if 6 sprays is what other people are using too
@SenickАй бұрын
@downo I looked up the product, it looks good, it does have PG but I'm guessing not much and it's cut with alcohol. I think you are more than OK with 6 sprays, just make sure your scalp is saturated and your heart rate isn't doing anything weird. Don't skip the fina and if it's been a while since your hair has been gone, microneedling could be good too. Best of luck to you, it's going to work!
@AnilKumar-gw7ipАй бұрын
Hey @Senick I’m happy to see your results. I’ve one thing to ask… I’m 25 now & my hair density is gradually decreasing as I can see light pass through the crown area. Is it ok to start using just 5%minoxidil or both minoxidil and finasteride. If yes how to start like how many times per day, how much mg of finasteride can be used.

I had a transplant at 40 for the front, cutting out a strip or hair, and a second one at fifty for the front, cutting out a strip of hair around the scar (so only one scar which was sewed so that hair grows over it) - in effect a very mild facelift that pulled the thinning crown patch down a bit so I can't see it in the mirror, face-on, but it does not seem to have got any worse than when I was forty (now seventy) and I do comb my hair back from the front. I do use Nizoral shampoo two to three times a week, Fabao 101 hair tonic every day and take some hair vitamins. Definitely can see the hair thinning if I stop the Nizoral and now experimenting with using heavily diluted Nizoral in between the full strength shampoos - I do shampoo every day and only use cold water showers even in winter (not just for the hair but to wake me up in the morning).

When you do yr transplant, what happens where the doner hair that you remove and transplant into another area of the scalp? When you remove the hair what I'm asking is and transplant it to another spot what happens when you remove it does hair grow back their,? Or do they have like a scar there forever or just hair grow back in the spot where you remove the hair? My hair is really getting thin and my hairline is going back now and I think I want to have some hair transplanted because it's really bothering me I'm very insecure about it I have my hair in a ponytail to try and camouflage my crown wear my hair is falling out and I would love nothing more but to have a short hair cut again, I do have some health issues and I'm on medication and I don't know if that's a contributor to my hair falling out but it's very recent that this has happened I'm 54 years old, and just in the last 2 years I noticed my hair is started falling out, and I had a very big thick head of hair for my whole life and now it's thinning and it's noticeable people are commenting and it's really making me feel self-conscious about it. I would need some in the front not a lot but some. And in the middle like around the hairline where it's receding and a little bit in the midsection of the front because it's quite thin there, and of course my crown area and I would like to do all of it like I don't want to come back and do this part and then go back and do another part. People say I don't need to do it my family says I don't need to do that I don't need to spend my money on that. But I really like to. It would make me feel better but I also don't want to shave my head off and then have to grow it out again I just will not feel comfortable looking like that it. I wonder how much it will cost. I live in Canada and I really admire your show I think you're a brilliant man, and I watch you everyday today I'm ordering your shampoo I don't use anything in particular I don't even use conditioner, but I'm going to start of course I don't use any hair products I just have my hair in a ponytail and it's fairly long for a man.. but I'm a status first station Indian here in Canada. And I've seriously been thinking it over. It's been a battle trying to get myself back to myself again and I'm almost there. And I'm really thinking about it.. everyone says I don't need it I look great the way I am and I'm confident in myself but I would feel better about myself I'm very self-conscious about my crown. I guess if it was in my budget and I could come to your clinic and do it I would I will.. I'm also considering going to Turkey to do it as well

Focus on nutrition, stress free mindset, and dietary habits. In your 20s, your scalp and cells are very active and strong. Inhibit DHT thru topical finasteride, or even duesteride, gentle derma roller applications, and massage the balding area for blood circulation. Poor blood flow causes the sides to go bald, while excessive DHT causes the top to disappear. More importantly, clean and shampoo your scalp regularly. Cut your hair every once in a while to decrease split ends and encourage growth.
