I’m 60 years old and consider myself a fairly good cook, with age I’ve learned you don’t know everything, your video showed me to put the burgers on frozen and I’ve never seen that, thank you I will be trying it. And also you made burgers for someone else, this is the first time ( I’ve watched 100’s of hours of cooking ) where someone made a food to what someone else likes, they always make it there way. Thank you as my wife and I are also different ( opposite yours I’m the well done ) couple.

Just bought frozen burgers for the first time and thought it was strange that the instructions said to place them on the grill frozen. But after watching your video, I feel much better about doing that. Thanks.

@@russelldx2 Thanks for watching! I know what you mean...I thought the same thing many years ago when I first grilled frozen patties.

I cooked Bubba Burgers (Angus) yesterday on my natural gas (Weber Spirit) for the first time. Instructions said 6 minutes per side. I had the grill at about 450 degrees. I put in the frozen patties and did the 6 and 6 and the burger was medium rare. I put it back on for 2 minutes and it was medium well (my preferred). I flipped them once and no "mashing". They were absolutely excellent. Shockingly so.

I have a weber natural gas BBQ and I use the same meat. I use high heat to get a good seer. When I put the meat on the BBQ I toast my buns at the same time. When the buns are toasted I turn the meat a 1/4 turn to get cross grill marks on both sides. I take the buns in and add my condiments on them then go out and turn the meat over.

Good video, it’s helpful, thanks! Questions: what temp and how long did you keep your burgers on for?
@hammysbbq8 ай бұрын
500 degrees. I kept medium burgers on for about 3 to 4 minutes per side....well done a little longer. The key is to check the amount of red juices on the top. I got temp up to 600 degrees recently and sear was excellent without drying out the burgers. Thanks for watching!

Thank you for your tips. I keep frozen patties handy for quick meals. This will be helpful to many. You are right about charcoal and fresh ground meat, but It is sad that you have to be apologetic.

How long is your grill on before throwing on the patties?
@hammysbbq7 ай бұрын
@@TheCyrivas07 Thanks for watching! I heat up the grill for about ten minutes...that gets the grates nice and hot so patties won't stick and it also makea it easier to scrape off gunk frpm the previous cook.

I buy great Value, 1/3 lb 80/20 frozen burgers, 12 pack for 13.oo or 1.10 each.....To me, it's the best burger deal...I have a gas & charcoal grill but don't like grease in my gas grill so i put down a sheet of aluminum foil, but then it's frying in grease, so Lately i've just been using my George foreman grill....at 1.10 a burger, i'm happy
