Thanks, great info. I have something from the super market. It's called "Hot n spicy". I'm going to try it in a tea. I usually take sprigs and chew them up during my morning walk. I believe it helps my swimmer's ear. It's an antibiotic and antimicrobial.

hot n spicy is great for pizza and tomatosauces, its more pungent than the european ones and flowers in white

Yes I have heard of this and was surprised that its Latin name Vulgare is supposedly the same as common Oregano. As I understand the wild Cyprus one is Organum Dubium I thought Hot & Spicy was Mexican

Not off the top of my head my friend....There are a few authentic Greek and Italian suppliers from a few web searches they commonly have many seeds at the bottom,,, Thanks for watching!!!!

The sicilian oregano looks and smells like majoran, doesn´t it?

it does but the odd plant I have managed to germinate isn't actually that pungent. At the moment Cyprus Oregano is the best. I have ordered however some Oreganum Syricum seeds and turkish oregano mix so there will be more on this soon. Thank you so much paulo

@@paulotheurbanfarmer5982 Cypress oregano has red flowers and Greek oregano has white flowers. That is how one can tell the difference between them.
