Why are rear delts trained by many or more people on pull day? Atm I train them on push day (with reverse pec Dec but I’m probably going to have to do smth else at uni since I won’t have access to that). I see why it would be done on pull day since it’s on the back of you, it’s a pulling muscle and not a pushing one and it pairs more with the upper back than the chest. So why am I asking this? I’m not sure if I should be doing rear delts on pull day or push day. Why? Because chest, shoulders and triceps are push day. Rear delts are the back of the shoulder. And you’re kind of just splitting up part of one muscle group by doing them on a different day. Please explain.

@@bobdarrick2628 do whatever nothing changes if u do it on pull day or push say
@bobdarrick2628 Жыл бұрын
@@Cuumerr ok thanks. I’ve started doing them on pull day (usually reverse pec deck but can be face pulls). Because rear delts are indirectly trained during lat pulldowns, pull ups, cable or seated rows, barbell rows, etc. So the synergy is there on that day and it’s just a bit queers that they aren’t with shoulders on push day. But not a huge deal.

Thanks for this. To the point and gives me 3 new exercises to do. As it stands now I'm new to working out. So i really only do the basics. Mondays are bicep curls with dumbbells, tricep pull downs with cable machine, bench press with dumbbells, and lat pull downs with cable machine. Tuesdays are goblet squats with dumbbells, calf raises with dumbbells, ab roller, and shoulder shrugs with dumbbells. I have been taking Wednesdays off. Thursday is a repeat of Monday, and Friday is a repeat of Tuesday. I always do a 10 minute run on the treadmill at 6.5 speed to start. With this I think I will work Wednesdays in as well to do shoulders. Advice is welcome.

It is really hard for me to join a gym because the only one in my area you have to be 13 to join and I just turned 12 march 1st so I’m limited to only dumbbells and a sit-up bench that I try to use as a normal bench but it is hard I want to know if there is any equipment that I could build rather than buying
