Bro same I can’t believe it I landed a regular backside flip once a couple months ago. It was 2nd try ever and I recorded it. Finally today I did like 20 half cab flips

what helped me is you gotta flick such that the board angles down a bit. If you notice in the video they always pop super hard, then flick a bit late and angle down such that the board is like angled towards the ground. That is part style, but also it helps it come around a lot.

Another SA skater here. I used to have this on lock back in the day and they are long gone. I have the fakie flip and the half Cab back but this this trick doesn't happen for me. I'm going to try the catch at 90 and see if that makes the flip easier. I've landed a couple and they always sort of flip and rotate the full 180 at once and if I land it's pure luck.

having ur back foot in the center pocket of the tail is bugging me lol. i do this trick quite well and get it mostly first try. the way i have my back foot is more forward and do a scoop motion. i have tried it in the center pocket and i can get it 90 but its definitely not going 180. also when i do this trick it always 100% lands 180 and ive never had it sketchy like over 90 when ive flipped it because ive got the right scoop pressure and flip everytime. sick video btw thanks.
